a 60s classic such as this being copy-pasted over a minimal tech house beat totally shouldn't work on paper but it's a bop.

I disagree, I really don't think the vocal suits the production :mellow:

Strange, a dance remix of a 60s song, hasn't been done much before, can only think of Boogie Pimps' Somebody To Love and the remix of Cream's Sunshine Of Your Love in 2005 by Hoxtons which was a minor hit.

 

Its quite good anyway.

speaking of which, Somebody to Love also just recently got a tech house re-do (by Ben Kim) which is currently top of the Beatport chart.
