Really, all Cold Heart has to do is not fall that far behind Shivers in the daily sales (Shivers has been ahead the last 2 days but only by tens of copies so it's negligible). When they're selling such similar numbers, Ed would have to really start pulling away, and that's not happening right now. Furthermore, taking away CD sales, Elton would actually still be #1, but only just!

To back this up, I ordered a Shivers CD single a couple of weeks ago and got an email last week to say it won't be shipped until week beginning 15th October. That was before he saw any midweek info about Cold Heart being ahead (though he may have known about the Cold Heart physicals and decided to give his friend Elton a shot anyway, but that's speculation and nothing more). It is quite exhausting to see Ed bashed for literally *everything* on here - the narrative is always framed in whatever way makes him look worse.
