even I laughed because it was funny, whether okay or not to have been said it was funny.

It was mean-spirited bullshit spouted by an awfully ignorant woman. Funny? Nah.

I think with her comments to that influencer Leigh had just had enough and didn't want people supporting Jesy when they had fallen out. I don't believe she actually wanted the person to make a video about the black fishing, she was just showing that there was other issues going on.

Exactly, and yes okay Nicki is unpredictable but this live was planned. She could easily have said "let's not discuss the other girls". They certainly haven't, except a private message, which we have ALL done.

What I'm disappointed in and upset in is that Leigh-Anne will get so many hateful comments on the back of this from Nicki's fanbase who are v toxic btw. I don't see a nasty person, we all have our breaking points in messaging people, and I really hope she just continues to thrive because what I see is a genuine, lovely and talented girl from watching her documentary.

But she's only a thirty-year-old NTA award-winning mental health advocate! Anyway, she was laughing at Nicki's accent and not the content of what she was saying! What else could she have done?

The lengths people will go to defend indefensible behaviour because they stan someone. I had all the time for Jesy after her documentary and continuously defended her on here when she left the band citing her mental health — but that doesn't protect her from warranted criticism.

This is absolutely what I mean by performative outrage, because surely you really don’t think Jesy laughing at Nicki making those accents is indefensible?

You can patronise people for having a different opinion from you but I’m not going to buy into the level of hysteria on the internet just because it’s making noise.

a reminder that we still don't even know the messages are 100% real, and why isn't leigh-anne well within her rights, as a black woman, to be disappointed by jesy blackfishing?

also i 100% agree that some comments about jesy have been vile, and that's in no way acceptable, but neither is sitting on a live while Nicki was literally verbally attacking Leigh for minutes. for me and many others, it's not about jesy it's about her behaviour. i'm just really, really disappointed.

What do you mean we don’t know they’re real? I’m not sure if you watched NoHun’s live but like it was as real as can be, it wasn’t a planned expose it was in response to someone’s comment. He was on live for a while before it even unfolded

No, I'm calling it a convenient excuse. She wasn't laughing at Leigh-Anne, she was only laughing at Nicki's accent. It's trite.

Jesy is a grown woman. If she had any problem with what Nicki was saying, she could say something about it or get off the live. She clearly didn’t and so whether she was laughing at what Nicki was saying or her accents it doesn’t matter.

She also confirmed that Leigh Anne messaged her about this after the Sweet Melody video so the whole idea that this was brand new when the interviewer asked her about it is bogus which leads me to believe a lot of her narrative is made up to serve her well.

She literally did though? Jesy sat in silence for the majority of it and only laughed when Nicki started doing accents.

I think Leigh-Anne is an amazing woman and I hate that this is happening so soon after she’s become a mother. I just have a hard time feeling like I have to come down on Jesy because of it. They’re two friends who have clearly fallen out, haven’t we all had that in life?

Because they’re two public figures and this is all playing out in public, we feel like we have to pick sides and go JESY IS AWFUL FOR THIS or LEIGH ANNE SHOUKD DO BETTER. But to me, I think both sides have human reactions. Leigh-Anne vented about an old friend with bitchy DM’s, Jesy didn’t defend her ex friend over these messages… and I think both of those responses would happen in an every day argument. I’d do the same.

So this is where I’m leaning towards thinking people are just mad about everything Jesy’s doing now. The blackfishing is wrong and it needs to stop, but her not defending an old friend is just a normal reaction?

All of this, couldn't have said it better and very unbiased.

This is exactly how I feel in all honesty. There is no denying Jesy’s blackfishing nor defending it in my opinion, but I am not okay with jumping on a band wagon that comes for someone for every little thing they do.

Very clear that some people will just defend Jesy to the end and it’s shocking to see to be honest.

The dm’s are not reliable, the most important parts have purposely been cut out.

I don’t understand this though. Nobody is defending Jesy blackfishing or denying she has made mistakes?

I’m pretty sure, even just for PR sake, either Leigh-Anne or someone in her family/team would’ve come out by now and denied it if it weren’t true. I don’t think I’ve seen any sense of that. I know all of the girls are steering clear from mentioning anything at all publicly but I’ve seen nothing to suggest they’re fabricated.

The live made me deeply uncomfortable.

This is having terrible "eyes through cracks of fingers" memories of when Jo O'Meara was on Celebrity Big Brother. As an S Club fan that was galling to view the ugly behaviour of Jo and see the subsequent fallout.

As a Little Mix fan, and especially like many believing that she'd left to put her mental health and wellbeing first, seeing Jesy engage in this sort of unsavoury behaviour is deeply disappointing.

Whoever is in charge of her PR and management at the moment needs to do some monumental damage control and she needs to promptly disappear and do some serious thinking about what she's doing.

I could literally see and feel how uncomfortable Jesy was when Leigh was brought up.

However, i'm really glad she apologised to people and said she really didn't intend for people to feel offended, you could tell that was genuine - but people want to ignore that as it doesn't fit their narrative of Jesy.

I'm also glad she addressed nothing was said over 9 years and only until recently.

I do not condone Nicki saying that mean stuff about Leigh but she did have some points about being silent for so long and only recently coming out with it and messaging influencers to post things.

It annoys me how people agree that it’s bad that Jesy black fishes but then compare it to Leigh sending an annoyed message to a fan when there clearly not comparable.

Leigh has had to deal with so much in the music industry just because of the colour of her skin. The fact that Jesy doesn’t understand this and appropriates black traits whenever she feels like it through the black fishing and the lyrics and visuals in the Boyz video, must be so frustrating and upsetting for Leigh. Especially as they were all so close for so long.

Yes Leigh probably shouldn’t have sent those messages but I can’t totally understand why she did.

She literally did nothing? You guys should be glad she didn't say anything horrible about the girls.

She kept silent the whole time Nicki was ranting and at the end apologised for her actions and how it may have offended people.

She shouldn't disappear because some people have rose tinted glasses and she's the 'villain', yes Jesy has done some things wrong with tanning etc but she did absolutely nothing wrong in this live at all.

I agree with all of this summed it up perfectly.
