October 20, 20213 yr Had 15 points worthy songs in semi 1 on first listen, good stuff - sending my biggest hype to Niceland because it's great but I do think it might be struggling to get through here if Finnegan Tui's result the other month was anything to go by (say no to indie folk discrimination). Hype to Cumulonimbia, Fljótavík, Quintessa and Rolloland as well <3 (and I already knew I liked the Aeroche song but it's sounding even better now - sorry Lee but I think this is the best Ewan entry oops, I liked both of yours too tho xx) Will aim to slot in a relisten and vote some time in the next couple of days!

October 21, 20213 yr Voted. Semi 1 might be the best semi I've been involved in this year. There were quite a few good songs I couldn't include in my vote.

October 21, 20213 yr Author Voted in semi 2 now as well - I definitely think the other semi is stronger overall but rooting hard for my top 5 in this one.
October 21, 20213 yr Semi 1 is definitely far better this time on first listen but hype to Kathaldazia in semi 2 and there are a few others that I hope will grow to be bigger faves for me as well.
October 22, 20213 yr I thought Semi 2 was one of the best semis we've had this year after listening to it, and it certainly is (all that rock! and plenty of interesting pop too), but it's been trumped by Semi 1. Gotta throw some hype to Lotunia, Yehesi, Aelandor, Rolloland and plenty of others from that semi. Really nice step up from the last JACKIE EXTREME entry as well for Eledan. I might just be in a good mood this month but most people have brought their A-game, a fantastic set of songs. Got no idea how I'll sort my votes at either stage yet.
October 22, 20213 yr Is Ewan McVicar not that DJ that Clyde 1 absolutely hammers? Yes, 'Tell Me Something Good' finished second bottom when I sent it couple months ago but it's now smashing the charts He's also Scottish (even if it's paisley) so bonus points
October 22, 20213 yr OMG I might actually vote for a country I NEVER vote for. Exciting! After the first listen-through I've wound up with four categories. 8 songs in "NO DICE" - Already know I'm not voting for these. Won't be listening to them again. 6 songs in the "FORGETTABLE" - Might in theory vote for some of them but highly unlikely. a whopping 11 songs in the "POTENTIAL" pile - Odds are that seven of these will get points from me. and finally 3 songs in my "DEAD CERT" category - These will probably get my 12/10/8 points as it stands.
