October 7, 200816 yr Do they still do the elimination matches at Survivor Series or is it too difficult to team people up as 'goodies' and 'baddies' who all love each other? Yep they still do that! They have too as that's one of the reasons as to why Survivor Series is classed as one of the 'Big 4' :lol:
October 8, 200816 yr Ah...well, it'd be one of the original 4 anyway. I used to enjoy those matches. The best one was back in about 1990 I think when all the survivors went into a big final face off. It was back when there were clear lines drawn between good guys and bad guys and I think Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior ended up beating about 10 men on their own as they were the only goodies left. Shame, I wish the Warlord had beaten them - I still remember those 'interviews' they would have before the matches. The Warlord would just stand at the back laughing and pulling stupid faces until it was his turn to speak into the microphone. They just don't have that these days...the ridiculous theatre aspect has gone for good.

Cena is the new Hulk Hogan (Has about 5 moves but keeps on winning somehow) and Warrior wasn't all that in the ring either. Don't get me wrong they have major amounts of charisma and they know what the crowd want, but yeah, they're really over rated. My fave Survivor Series tag match was 2006 (??) DX vs Rated R-KO when no-one got eliminated from DX's team :lol:
October 10, 200816 yr Welcome to the world of wrestling - those who are c**p are given the title so people like them and it's the job of the good wrestlers to make the c**p champions look good. Also, those who can talk well in interviews will get paid more - those, like the Warlord, who're rather c**p will be stuck in the background. :)

Yeah he has the crowd (and me as i am one of his biggest fans I hope :lol:) But even I admit his Mic Work isn't quite up to the likes of Chris Jericho, Randy Orton (who has improved LOADS on the mic) The Rock, Stone Cold etc... Because Vince likes the guys who have the Mic skills. Probably more than the people who have actual in ring talent. Speaking of in-ring talent... They are also constantly shoved in our faces, it's like, FFS there are others on there that deserve so much more! That's why I like Smackdown so much more at the moment! They are pushing more than one superstar in the main event! And apart from Triple H (Who I don't mind) they're not constantly shoving them down our throats! I mean Triple H, Batista & Cena. (Apart from recently) Cena didn't lose one single match and always came out on top! It got boring and predictable. Since Cena's return at the Rumble (Before injury again) he had lost alot more matches than he used to. That's why I like him more than 'tista. Batista & Triple H seem to have been getting Cena's old ways of being pushed. Tell me a match where you've seen Batista and Triple lose Cleanly to a superstar? (And I mean BEFORE this past monday on RAW and Tag matches and Triple threats involving more than one superstar don't count! and they're never the ones to be pinned in them matches anyway!)
