I am liking Kiss of Life at this early stage.

Much more connected with the Disco theme than A Second to Midnight.

Absolutely loved Kiss of life, so much more disco than some of the songs on Disco itself. That said, I liked both songs and wish she'd invested in a new studio album versus a reissue of Disco. Let's be honest, album climate is so weak these days and most of the kids are streaming music that a "legacy" artist like K won't have any issues selling 30-40K first week with all the special editions, etc. etc. and the fanbase that still buys physical CDs.

I think the new edition is a nice way to close the Disco era and songs like Kiss of Life are a great way to close a stunning era.

Kylie will go a completely new route for her next studio album.

I don't believe Kylie has started any work on her new album as the Disco Deluxe had been rumoured for so long.

I would believe Kylie concentrated on completing the work for this and will possibly start mapping out her direction for a new album next year.

 

This is much more instant for me than ASTM, its no say something but very catchy.

Much as I enjoyed 'A Second to Midnight', this is more like it! A bit cheeky, a bit playful and PROPER disco 🕺

 

Also, Jessie Ware can do no wrong at the moment - it's basically a dream combination. 😍

Is it an official single or a grat? Today's release schedule lists it as a grat, maybe it's a future single like Steps have done with two grats that turned into singles later.
That's the thing, the Friday release leads me to believe it's a grat but a video has been filmed (which is apparently coming early next week)

If this does enter before 'A Second to Midnight', in the history books it'll look like this was the first single. :lol:

I wa sjust judging it by how long she seemed to be in the studio, seemed quote a long time for just 3 additional tracks featuring artists. Setting up a mini studio in Oz, who knows.

 

Also, recently Kylies record company seem to be wanting to get some sort of new release out quite often since she joined them.

 

Time will tell hun :-)
