I will continue to pretend 'Get You Down' is the Sam Fender song rightfully blowing up from this era.

 

(or, even more ideally, people just finally making 'Play God' the massive hit it deserved to be a couple of years ago x)

 

I guess 'Seventeen Going Under' is probably my 2nd favourite of the songs I've heard from this era but it's still only like a 7/10 song.

The city charts are last week's weekly chart (daily numbers don't seem to be available on the city level).

Spotify's done a makeover of their Charts website today (although today's update is yet to be seen).

 

The new link for the UK Daily Chart is HERE. It now has additional information; peak, yesterday's position, consecutive days in chart. Also, if you click on a song there is further information; release date, entry date, entry position, total days in the chart.

 

They are also now doing charts for cities, in the UK these are Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Liverpool, London and Manchester. Elsewhere on the site they're now doing genre charts, album charts, artist charts.

 

Exciting times ahead!

I believe it's because 24/5 is interpreted as May 24th, 2021 which is then converted into a number in Excel's sequence of dates which start from Jan 1st, 1900. So it's the 44340th day since then.
