Probably tomorrow then? Would make sense, but then again Emma's tickets go live on Friday, so maybe next week? LOL

The rotating Spice World is back on IG stories with nothing else happening. Queens of teasing teasers on a loop LOL
Using the same teaser over and over again, they really are testing us lol
The Instagram account celebrated “SYBT” video filming today (aka.trying to push the selling of the shirt) but totally ignored ‘SUYL’ day? Who runs their account?

I wonder if it's because they want to save Spice Up Your Life content until after Spiceworld 25 formats have gone up? They could share some content about that song on its release date perhaps.

They are trying to get rid of final stock. Those jumpers were cute though

We can forget about a announcement anytime soon as the queen will be dominating the news the next few days/weeks.
Yeah it looks like the Queens death will be announced today, that will stop everything for a week at least.
if only they had announced it earlier but I guess there just wasn't any time
As if I could detest the queen even more, jesus....

This had crossed my mind as well after I heard about the Queen. There's supposed to be a twelve day mourning period, so nothing could be announced then without being seen to be very distasteful, I imagine even directly after that's over would seem iffy too.

Universal seriously could have got the ball rolling with this ages ago. Surely they've known which formats they're releasing for a while now. So honestly I'll be amused if their plan is scuppered after this tedious build up of teasing. Only got themselves to blame if they lose 2 or more weeks of intended time for preorders.

Ffs, im so bored now...

A fan on Pop Justice just mentioned that an amazon link for a Spiceworld 2CD pre-order and an extra one (with no info but probably a vinyl of some sort) were live for a second. Neither had any designs or tracklist info either, but the prices were:

2CD at £30

the other link £28 (which sounds about right for the vinyl)

It also confirmed the release date as 4th November, although I would wish they would be up for postponing it to a bit later on to compensate for lost time

I wonder if they’ll consider delaying it too. Although I like that the release date is only one day after the actual 25th anniversary of its release!

I just want details :( It’s 9 weeks today since the first tease. They might wait until a few days after the funeral? So we’re possibly talking late September… for an early November release.

The 25th November looks great for a release that would also bode really well for the Christmas market B-)

But also, I genuinely would be surprised if they would have released the announcement last week or even this week anyway. It would clash too much with Emma's show going on sale and Melanie's book release... So I would have staggered it and thus clearly the announcement was always meant for a bit later this month, maybe next week anyway...

I think the solo efforts are something all the girls are aware of. So the announcements will happen regardless even if there is a clash.

Also, Melanie C (wherever she will be to promote the book) she will talk a lot about the Spice Girls acknowledging Spice World anniversary. Same for Emma, the show will have many Spice songs. I see a continuity in what they’re doing.

And these two are active when they want. I don’t think it would be a problem to put their energies in both things!

Of course, but in terms of 'announcements' or releases I dont think they would want them to clash, so we would be looking at a three-week staggered strategy:

Week of 5th September: Emma announcement and tickets go on sale

Week of 12th September: Mel C on promo tour and release of her book

Week of the 19th September: The group announcement and pre-orders go live

This way, there is less cross over of sales, as otherwise their audiences (which are heavily Spice fans anyway) would be too overwhelmed... It wouldnt make sense to clash them too much.

For most of us, those are already quite overwhelming anyway (specially for our budgets lol), so imagine them clashing even more than that lol

Emma and Mel C would absolutely chat about the Spice-related stuff across their promos for sure though, and I am sure they will!

Yes, I agree.

I hope all 5 of them spend some time to promote it. And that the thing doesn’t die in just one post.

It’s my fave pop record ever, it would be a pity.

Victoria included. She was everything in Too Much and Stop. And she made the movie. I really hope she comes up with something genuine this time and not the usual “I’m thankful for this thing I did when I was younger, it was fun, buy my exclusive Spice World tees for only £500.
