Hopefully it will look good, but Jessie Ware's platinum edition of her latest album had a similar design and it looks terrible live so Im not so confident lol :blink:

Not sure we'll get any more today, as they've not updated anything since 3:55, but I imagine the rest will be added tomorrow. Unless they're planning on just a Step To Me 25 merch drop with the song on streaming, before a separate Spiceworld 25 announcement in a few weeks, but that doesn't make a lot of sense.

My big fear for SW25 is it will be basically sold completely on Step to me and those t-shirts aren't filling me with hope.

 

What I mean is that little effort will be put into the tracklist and promo beyond Step to me. The 2nd cd being Step to me, the b-sides and already released remixes.

I think Step To Me is the optimistic scenario at this point. I could still see some sort of f***ery happening with that.

Hope we will have the real Step To Me CD single on Plateforme with all the versions.

Then they will do a Spice World The Movie 25 campaign in late November/December and also announce a tour around that time.

 

The 2019 tour was announced in November 2018 and Spice World The Movie was released around Christmas in the UK, so it makes sense to stack the different campaigns according to the timelines of celebrations.

Yeah they probably will, they already get a lot of flack.

 

What I would say to that is that the Stadium 2019 tour was, in comparisson to similar level productions from the likes of Beyonce and Gaga, a lot more reasonably priced. If they keep the prices affordable (LOL) then maybe they can escape it a bit... The other thing they have in their power, is the 'escapism' vibe of the Spice Girls, which goes well with the tabloid press of contemporary UK.

 

Ultimately, they will be fine but yeah they should get ready for a bit of flack. Certainly, they should expect people to not be able to purchase so much as they did before. I would be surprised if a world-wide tour would sell as quickly as their previous ones and that is FINE! Huge acts like Gaga and Taylor Swift often take a bit of time to sell out shows here and there, and I would image it would be similar for them specially outside of the UK.

If they just release Step To Me on t-shirts and not on streaming/vinyl that’ll be the reason I end up in prison :lol:

Oh GOD that cover is terrible! They should have just left the background in plain white colour, rather than that terrible silver, and made the globe with Spiceworld25 bigger...

However another teaser was posted on Facebook Spiceworld Fan HQ page earlier. This time it’s Victoria saying “hold onto your knickers girls”. Geez, are they going to make us wait until they’ve done a tease from each girl?
