I left the UK when it became to toxic and fascistic for migrants like me -_- I got tired of being treated (both by the state and the people at large) as a second class citizen who should be thankful I was 'allowed in'. Rotten little racist island.

Shops are now selling things in oz too :/ Makes no sense! Brexshit is going to hell and back, so maybe people will start to realise all the rscism and exceptionalism was ridiculous... hopefully.

I preordered evrything on Bravado but asked them to cancel the CDs so i could get the rest that was not late... they made a mess and cancelled all my order, so know I am waiting to order evrything again after Xmas mess.

I believe it's a shame that spiceworld25 is not very commercialized everywhere and just bravado and official stores has all the items.

Brexit even made difficult to buy from UK bcs custom is becoming a lot expensive, in Italy at least they let u pay taxes on the items and even u have to pay for office works they did to deliver the items....

Do we know any updates on midweeks yet?

I did a £3.99 Amazon download of Spiceworld today, hopefully to help it stay top 100.

#29 is great, I would hope they would do ANY promo for it this week. So far, nada...

 

To be fair, I'm willing to bet that not a single one of the five members is even aware that the CDs are available now.

Spice 25 sold 1,464 CDs during its first week, so it seems Spiceworld 25 is not very far behind.

Spiceworld making the Top 200 on Friday (well, we assume it has!) would be its 90th week in the Top 200.

 

In its original 90s run it stayed in the chart for 85 weeks (well, its 85th week was in the chart dated 2nd January 2000, but I'm guessing all of the sales are from the 90s... I doubt anywhere was open on New Year's Day?). Side note but I'm surprised that their Brits 2000 performance didn't get either Spice or Spiceworld back into the chart. Maybe stock had depleted too much or maybe just about everyone interested in owning the albums already did by the time that appearance occurred... but on paper you'd think promotion like that would have sent album sales flying. :unsure:

Oh thats interesting about the Brits 2000! I mean, there was a LOT of anti-Spice in the press and the industry as well, so Im not surprised... the very fact they were given that award was seen as something to throw mud at them for :angry:

Weren't they given it last minute in 2000 as whoever was going to get it deopped out? Also they changed the name of it from something like 'lifetime achievement award' to 'outstanding contribution to music'.

Yes wasn’t Paul McCartney supposed to get it and then Spice Girls got it fairly last minute? You would have thought they would have done their album campaign around it with more information… but then this is the spice girls so…lol
