Things seem to be going to Becky Hill’s head a bit. She just came out on some Insta post with ‘I am Popstar’.

Ummm not so sure personally. Think I’ll give her a wide berth for a while.

I would agree with Becky, having 3 songs currently in the top 40, 1 in the top 5, and an album in the top 10 almost a year after its release is quite an achievement and definitely doesn't happen to anybody. I don't think theres a problem with it "going to her head" because shes worked for it and deserves the success :P

History is struggling to move nearer to the Top 10 and I think Top 15 could be a best peak.

The point was she, in all seriousness, called herself a popstar.

Not really the British way is it?? 😉

Anyway I’ll butt out. She’s lost me atm both vocally and personality wise.

It's probably still way too early to celebrate it (after how long 'Crazy What Love Can Do' took to peak) but I am loving this failing to make any major moves since its debut so far. The song isn't quite as bad as CWLCD but this sound really needs to be confined to the past. Appropriate song title x
It would seem Joel does need to switch things up a bit as it's 3 singles in a row now scraping the middle of the charts, I Wish (#17), What Would You Do (#21), HISTORY (#18). That's not to say there isn't a market for this type of music anymore but other more interesting dance tracks are starting to take precedence instead.
He should do a more tech housey track next I reckon as that seems to be the way commercial house is going - just ask James Hype who hadn’t had a hit for five years and now Ferrari had overtaken the peak of More Than Friends.

I hope it can re-peak. I don’t want it being lumbered with a #18 peak and peaking lower than "I Wish"

It 100% looks like it’s peaked now

Really can’t see it peaking any higher looking at its Spotify performance and it’s slowly dropping on apple too

Really surprised how this performed, I was honestly expecting an easy top 10
I’m not surprised at all by this and as I think Lewis said before he needs a change of direction for any future releases he puts out, but it would be sensible for him to take a break from commercial music for a while now I feel.
There has been mentions of an album from him so I think he should get that out in the new year to round out these last few years of releases and then think about mixing up his sound for future stuff.
