Fantastic seeing it climb so much over the past few weeks although it's still far from the Global Top 200 - when it peaked at 441k on Friday, the #200 was on 805k. 69k of its streams that day came from Germany. The #200 on US Spotify achieved 241k streams that day and I feel it can't be that far away from reaching that chart.

Sickick has a mashup of Michael Jackson's 'Remember the Time' and Phil Collins' 'In the Air Tonight' which also features vocals from Sickick and has been in and out the Top 40 on UK iTunes (ahead of 'Frozen') for a while. The full version of 'Frozen' would probably do even better. I imagine there's something in place to stop this happening though, especially if Madonna has been working on her own remix of it.

As soon as I heard the full Sickick version I was looking out for it on Amazon Prime and it just didn't arrive, even though the video had said it would be available on all platforms.

I'm wondering if Madonna jumped on the remix project and stopped it from happening... which, if so, is a shame as I think it could have put her back in the Top 40 in the UK at least; but I think the momentum will now be lost and I actually don't think it would do so well as just a Madonna remix, rather than a collaboration release.

I am really hoping this remix is the lead single for a remix collection from her and not (what I expect will happen) which is she abandons it in favour of her own remixes which is why this isn't getting the push it deserves..
She has been showing a lot of support for this remix, playing it over her insta stories and sharing its progress, although she has been given a lead credit on the remix so makes sense. I imagine the remix she’s currently working on will take the sound of Sickick’s and build on it (possibly with Swae Lee rapping the verses). I just hope she doesn’t re-record the vocals because the original vocals are perfect.

'Frozen' was originally released on 23 February 1998 so maybe we'll get it on 25th (a Friday)? I'd be surprised if we're still waiting after that date.

Didn't she use "Coming Soon" a fair bit for the Madame X film... and then we waited months?

 

"Soon" could be next Tuesday... or it could be "six months next Tuesday".

 

I think she's missing the boat with a Frozen remix to be honest. Social media has already moved on to Material Girl.

I suppose they could have been waiting for the Sickick remix to peak but that’s happened now so it’s about time she released it!
