It also makes me wonder if both versions of NOW Christmas will be combined in the compilation chart? If so, it could be the first time that NOW Christmas tops the compilation chart. As for physicals, only this years edition is stocked up in Asda and Morrisons which are the only two supermarkets that still sell CDs so the physical sales will come from the 2022 edition

Not necessarily! Physical copies of the 2021 edition are still available on Amazon, and it’s half the price of the 2022 edition - so it could entice more people to buy that given how little difference there is.

The 2022 edition is basically the 2021 edition but with an extra disc of songs which charted over the Xmas period. There’s a £4.79 price difference between the two so it would be like paying an extra £4.79 for an extra disc of songs which charted over the Xmas period
