^Exactly, hopefully Beach House can get their first top 10 considering how low sales are gonna be as there's no big release this week

I cannot really see the Bad Chill thing at #1, my money would be on White Lies, either that or Ed returning to #1

I think my money would be on BBCC for #1 this week!

I reckon so too or Ed returning to #1. White Lies sold 4,727 in 2019 so they'll be safe for Top 10 but definitely not #1.

I'd usually say 'hope Beach House will do well this week' but the physical copies aren't out until April so that'll have to wait lmao

Looks like White Lies could be in for a good debut given the lack of competition, with Ed presumably going back to #1

so the last White Lies only did 4K? then I cannot really see them grabbing the #1

also just checked and there are not many formats, their website just has 1 CD, 1 cassette and 1 vinyl (black, which no one wants)

and then I see a white vinyl variant on indie stores

think it's gonna be Ed back to #1 with low sales for sure then

I can, they’ve got a decent fanbase and I think they’re the sort to massively push for #1 with no shame whatsoever.

I truly despair if BBCC can get a #1 album

brb stanning Ed Sheeran for one week :mansoncheer:

Central Cee's first mixtape did 15k first week last year and he's surely bound to do even better this time, I would expect he'll be #1 pretty comfortably? Tears For Fears are a bit of an unknown quantity with this being their first album since 2004 but I don't think this feels like a notable enough comeback to pull those kind of numbers. It'd be a big turnaround if they do as their last 2 albums didn't even make the top 40!
I’d like to think Tears for Fears get by the number one, they are huge and have had massive R2 support. Their first single before Christmas was amazing.

I think Tears for Fears will do very well cos of the massive R2 support, and thats what matters to sell albums

But dont think it will be enough to counteract Central C's streams, he's already had like 5 top 40 singles from the album and has many of those on playlists plus a new single used from today, so in a way it's like a greatest hits :D

Kind topped the UK Album Chart giving Stereophonics their seventh number one album, selling just under 30,000 in its first week, including just over 3,000 copies on vinyl. On 27 December 2019 the album was certified Silver in the UK for sales of 60,000.

Interesting that Ella’s team went for a full price album, The Shires and Bryan Adams being £6.99 on iTunes.

I guess they will discount it quite quickly if there is a chance of better than expected success and good promo?
