9 weeks at #1 for "Heat Waves". If you thought maybe this week competition would emerge then you'd be sorely mistaken. Actually it's still extending its lead over its closest competitors. It's possible "Bad Habits" will return to #2 given how they're dipping. Thus far this year we've had 2 songs released in 2022 to reach the top 10, both for a single week. Dave will be hoping to make it 3 as "Starlight" vaults to easily be his highest charter ever, and should at least next week move up some more. Maybe Justin Bieber can still get there with "Ghost", but as is, he's spent 21 weeks between #11 & #20, the most of any non-top 10 hit. Imagine Dragons themselves are closing in on 2nd place in that regard with "Enemy". Nirvana have historically had two top 5 hits, and their other top 50 entries all peaked between #21 & #25. That does not change this week with "Something In The Way" wedging nicely in at #22. It enters just ahead of Megan & Dua who should climb next week though I'm not sure how much of their current traction is being leveraged by playlisting (I'm not certain there's ever been a moment in the past 28 months that Dua Lipa hasn't been on HHA/TTH) but maybe they can pull a "Bam Bam" and stick around, something has to. Though it should also be said that with Jnr Choi just barely holding onto a top 50 spot this week while being at #8 on HHA and #31 on TTH, playlisting isn't everything. By the way we're close to 56 weeks on the playlist for "The Thrill" which ARIA still isn't counting.

A month after scoring their first ever top 10 single, The Wiggles score their first ever #1 album. If this is possibly making you be cynical about promotional efforts of The Wiggles, you probably need to log off. This particular album features the band doing a series of diverse covers of the likes of Fatboy Slim, Dropkick Murphys, AC/DC, Rihanna & The Chats, while also it features a disc of local artists doing covers of Wiggles classics, fulfilling a long held desire of all of us to hear DZ Deathrays cover "Hot Potato", and such. In the process, they hold off Rex Orange County from scoring his first ever #1, "Who Cares?" is his highest charting and 2nd top 10 album, maybe the next one will be the ticket. Also seeing new heights is Ghost who also score their 2nd top 10 album and highest charter at #3. '80s/'90s icons Hoodoo Gurus score their highest charting album in nearly 30 years. There's not much else to note except that the perennially bubbling Coldplay live album which serves as a proto Greatest Hits in the stream equivalent albums era has returned for only its 4th ever week in the top 50.

"Heat Waves" enters the relatively rare air of a double digit reign, which I believe only 25 songs have done so (or 24 if you choose to disregard "Cold Heart"'s fake week at #1). Perhaps the most peculiar thing to note this week is that it's spent 60 weeks in the top 10, obviously a record, but this is split between two separate 30 week consecutive runs. Next week it'll have 20 more weeks in the top 10 than its nearest rival, and it'll also very likely still be #1 because there is still no competition. Ed Sheeran is still getting dividends from the Bring Me The Horizon version of "Bad Habits" but also his Australian tour went on sale recently which has pushed everything of his that isn't "The Joker And The Queen" back up. In fact "Bad Habits" is 3 weeks away from matching "Dance Monkey" as the 2nd longest running top 10 hit. The only notable competition going around is Dave who is still gaining ground on Spotify and might be able to sneak a top 5 peak as everything around him weakens further. As of now, "Starlight" is the 3rd song released in 2022 to make the top 10, and next week it should be the first to spend 2 weeks there, and likely the highest charter, as it's currently tied with "Fingers Crossed" at #8. "Ghost" is also trying very hard to get into the top 10 and might be able to finally do that soon even though it's dropping down, the top 10 is just so weak right now. Elley Duhé reaches #27 to match her peak with "Happy Now". Bring Me The Horizon kind of have two songs in the top 50 this week as "maybe" gets in, which is seeing some decent stability with the release of Machine Gun Kelly's album. More peculiar for me is the return of Joel Fletcher to the chart, and the first time in the top 50 for Brothers. Joel Fletcher had a bunch of hits in the early 2010s as a big proponent of the brief commercial boom of the Melbourne bounce scene. Most notably he got to #2 with his rendition of Savage's "Swing" in 2014. He's teamed up this time with Brothers, who are a hip-hop duo from Brisbane. If you remember Hooligan Hefs' hit "SEND IT!" from last year, this track has a fair bit on common with that, so don't be surprised if Australian radio refuses to get on board with another Australian song that's actually charting.

Likely owing to a slow week, Charli XCX scores her first ever #1 album. She's only previously gotten into the top 10 once with "Charli" and only even made the top 50 twice before so this is relatively out of character, and only "Good Ones" briefly has charted over here. She fends off a return to #1 for Ed Sheeran, with the next highest debut coming from Vanessa Amorosi, who hasn't hit the top 10 in about a decade. You could say she's somewhat contemporaneous with Josh Pyke who also debuts this week, and certainly not of ArrDee who charts with his mixtape. Next week expect a competitive chart with the arrival of Michael Buble, Machine Gun Kelly, Xavier Rudd, Camp Cope, and perhaps Foo Fighters' Greatest Hits will make a big vault.

"Heat Waves" reaches 11 weeks at #1 which only 18 songs have done now. It'll have a hard time making it 12 weeks as it were, since just half a week's tracking has pretty much guaranteed Harry Styles a week at #1 by a huge margin. It remains to be seen how long he maintains it but I'd be surprised if he were down so soon. Otherwise the top 10 is fairly stagnant this week. Dave has managed the first 2022 song to spent two weeks in the top 10 but in actually deranged Spotify Australia moments, they've shoved "Starlight" to the very bottom of the Hot Hits playlist, implying that they're ready to dump it soon while still promoting fresh new singles like "Heat Waves", "Kiss Me More", "BED", and of course we're about to hit week 58 of Wiz Khalifa's "The Thrill" which is still not being acknowledged on the ARIA Chart. Speaking of not being acknowledged by ARIA, last week that was the case for the cover of "Tom's Diner" which arrives in the top 20, further sating Australia's fascination for dogshit covers. The DNA remix of Suzanne Vega's original reached #8 back in the day. I think it goes without saying that Australia loves Foo Fighters. They were just in the country in fact and now with the passing of Taylor Hawkins they score a big new peak for "Everlong" (which he didn't actually play on), originally a #45 debut and peaker back in 1997. We now tragically have 3 different Dr. Luke songs in the top 50. Tate McRae scores a big debut for "chaotic" though it looks to be dropping quickly out of the chart next week. Most peculiar this week is the arrival of J. Cole's "No Role Modelz", which has spent much of the last year within the top 100 slowly crawling up the chart, last week catching a big break by jumping into the Spotify top 50. It is so barely in the ARIA top 50 that I can actually acknowledge that the real reason it got over the line this week is because of the song's multiple references to Will Smith & The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. It's a bit touch & go at the moment so I can't say it's hugely likely to stay in the top 50 next week.

Machine Gun Kelly gets his first #1 in Australia this week. 2020's "Tickets To My Downfall" debuted and peaked at #2 behind Joji. This time around though he bests the otherwise sure bet of Michael Buble, who admittedly has not hit #1 since 2013 and all his albums since then have reached #2. Xavier Rudd scores his 7th top 10 album, 4 of which have peaked at #6. Placebo score their 4th top 10 album, having gotten there with every album since "Meds", which is their highest charter at #4. After a reasonable (though not quite Placebo-lengthed) gap, Camp Cope return with their 3rd album which doesn't quite hit the top 10 like its predecessor, an album I commend very highly though I haven't listened to this new one yet. Denzel Curry is right behind them at #12 which is his highest chart position to date. Aldous Harding also scores her first top 50 album here.

For the past 4 months, "All Too Well (Taylor's Version)" was the most recent song to hit #1 for the first time, and since then we've just had a cavalcade of returns to the top. Harry Styles gets his 2nd #1 (or 3rd if you want to count "Drag Me Down") with "As It Was", which is also the 2nd time he's knocked off a long running #1. Once again it looks like he'll probably be replaced within a week as Jack Harlow has taken his huge opening week and surpassed it, with "First Class" scoring comfortably the highest ever Spotify debut ever in Australia. We have some more new entries this week too, with Shawn Mendes fairing better than he has been lately with "When You're Gone", although it's already not certain if he's staying stable with it. Lil Tjay also debuts with a song that Hot Hits Australia are not interested in acknowledging (59 weeks of "The Thrill" btw). He'll probably drop off pretty fast. Not yet certain for Dean Lewis who is doing better than his 2021 material by entering the top 40 but is also already seeing some shaky streaming performance.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have their 7th #1 album, I am bereft of interesting things to say about it. Also in the top 10 this week is Confidence Man who've jumped up quite a bit from their first album. That's swapping with Meshuggah who get their 3rd top 50 album but it's quite a way down from when they reached the top 10 in 2016.

For the second week in a row we have a #1 debut on the singles chart. I believe the last time this has happened was in 2016 with Katy Perry's "Rise" and Major Lazer's "Cold Water", perhaps these two will have more longevity than the former. The new one though comes from Jack Harlow giving him his first ever #1 single, which interpolates Fergie's #2 hit "Glamorous". He pulls through with an even bigger opening week than Harry but as a caveat is coming with a bigger drop. I expect Jack will hold the #1 spot this week but it's so close that I could see paid/free streaming ratios perhaps swaying the outcome the other way. Harry is actually starting to offset the initial declines and as I write this I've discovered that "As It Was" got more streams yesterday than it did the same day last week, so how about that. This ends up being unlucky for Camila Cabello who is hoisted a #11 peak for now with "Bam Bam". In what can only be considered a funny coincidence, WILLOW climbs into the top 50 this week with one of her older tracks "Wait A Minute!", which actually gave a run for the chart a couple years ago but didn't quite get there. This time around the momentum is running stronger so now we'll wait to see if it gets playlist backing.

Earlier this year I noted that Huskii did a very rare feat of debuting at #1 with his debut album having never made the ARIA Chart before that in any capacity, which had not happened since 2009. Not to take anything away from that achievement but it's actually happened again this week with Wet Leg. The group's rise to popularity makes me extremely nostalgic for the late 2000s when these sorts of bands would just pop up out of nowhere and take the spotlight as if they've always been there. It's very rare nowadays that an international group does it but hey it sure worked. "Chaise Longue" did make triple j's Hottest 100 for 2021 at #45 earlier this year too. On the topic of Australian artists gaining fervour with their debut, look no further than Short Stack who debuted at #1 with their debut album in 2009 (gosh that year is coming up a lot). They've been largely absent for a while so this is their first new album since 2015, and it keeps up their record with 4/4 top 10 debuts. Tool return to the chart thanks to a vinyl release of their latest album, while Camila Cabello also debuts a decent bit lower than she's used to. Mind you she still beats Father John Misty who I'm surprised to not even see in the top 50 at all given how well he did in the UK. Jack Harlow returns with his first album to the tune of a slight new peak.

Jack Harlow holds the top spot narrowly. His descent has slowed down a lot but not enough to stop Harry from probably getting back to #1 next week. Side note, isn't it interesting that we had back to back #1 debuts by artists who refer to themselves in the 3rd person in song, yes I am doing anything to avoid talking about the actual non-event chart this week where for the first time the top 15 is unchanged. Updates to Hot Hits Australia in the past week will change that but I don't like to draw attention to Dr. Luke music. On the other hand there's also a new Kid LAROI song that's aiming to enter in the top 5. All we got this week was a particularly egregious case of the boomers winning with Easter streams and just one low top 50 debut from Lauren-Spencer Smith. She hasn't got the Hot Hits slot yet but tonight she jumped into the Spotify top 40 for the first time so maybe there's a stable hit in the running here. "Dance Monkey"'s re-entry this week after a 9 month absence means that it finally reaches 100 weeks in the top 50, the 3rd song to do so. On that note, The Weeknd is 3 weeks away from matching Lewis Capaldi's tenure of 124 weeks. In 'new' hit news, "Sweater Weather" and "Another Love" both entered the Spotify top 50 for the first time tonight. ARIA so far has not been tracking either song but maybe they'll change their tune if they get high enough. These US & UK hits have not previously charted here.

Vinyl reigns supreme once more. It gets Dua Lipa to return to #1 for a 3rd non-consecutive week which is particularly interesting because the album did not debut at #1 yet has had 3 separate stints all in different calendar years. Tyler, The Creator also has his own vinyl bump for his latest album which gets it back into the top 10. Just below is the only new entry of the week from Kirsty Lee Akers. She does not sing on "Energy" by Stace Cadet but this is the local country singer's highest charting album to date. This week is also the first time ever that "good kid, m.A.A.d city" has ever spent 2 weeks in a row in the top 50.

Harry Styles returns to #1 which makes "As It Was" his longest running #1 single. Looks like it'll comfortably stay there for now too unless something vaults out of nowhere. The Kid LAROI debuts at #4 which I imagine was very close to #3 which notably ends the unbroken 41 week reign of "STAY" as the highest Australian song on the chart. That's basically it this week.

Album chart is a bit busier though, which results in Northlane scoring their 2nd #1 album. They last hit #1 in 2015 which incidentally was when Daniel Johns released his first solo album (he's the guy from Silverchair if it's not obvious), which also peaked at #2 (being Hillsong :deadbanana: ). Also on the topic of Australian metalcore or thereabouts, there's a top 10 debut for Ocean Grove. Pusha T arrives at #11, just like he did in 2018, just ahead of a revival for Flight Facilities courtesy of a vinyl re-release. Fontaines D.C. arrive just ahead of Jack White who belatedly debuts with physical sales added. Then we've got peak psychedelic garage core with Psychedelic Porn Crumpets & King Gizzard.

Harry gets a 3rd week at #1 but next week should be quite interesting. Jack Harlow has his album out and yet at the same time, it's so close between the two that it's anyone's game at this stage. There might even be further competition down the line from Lizzo who has vaulted from not making the chart to going straight into the top 20. "About Damn Time" will very likely become her highest charting single ever next week as it's comfortably ensconced in the Spotify top 3 at the moment. Future may also attempt a slight climb for the next highest debut of the week "WAIT FOR U" which in typical playlist/Australia fashion, is gaining on performance from the start of the week even though I think he peaked at some point last week. To date his only top 10 hit is "Way 2 Sexy" so he's never had a lead artist top 10 and this doesn't look like it'll quite get there either. Despite never actually ever going away, Justin Bieber returns this week although also looks like "Honest" will be leaving quite quickly. Less certain is Benson Boone who will attempt to grab some stability while he can. "In The Stars" is his first ever top 50 hit after "GHOST TOWN" looked like it was going to do it last year but got caught in the Taylor Swift shuffle and never recovered. Australia seems especially interested in the cringe sequel to GAYLE's cringe, with Leah Kate vaulting up the chart quite fast (idk maybe because Heath Ledger is Australian, let's go with that). Then with extra thanks to ARIA adding YouTube views recently, PSY is able to sneak onto the top 50 for the first time since "Gentleman" in 2013.

On the album chart, Future has had a very shaky chart history over the years. Previously he made the top 5 with his Drake collaboration in 2015, while most of his own albums have hovered around 20 & 30. So relatively out of nowhere, his latest album rockets him to the top spot for the very first time. I can't imagine Rammstein were far off either, but they do score their highest ever charting album this week by making it to #3. Their self-titled in 2019 got them to #5 previously. Mildlife scored a top 10 debut in 2020 and now return with a live album. Norah Jones has a vinyl re-issue for the 20th anniversary of her very successful album and also The Voice Australia is still going for all your otherwise unprompted rebounds.

A big vault from Jack Harlow isn't enough to stop Harry from getting a 4th week at #1. It's hard to see anyone overtaking him unless he has an even bigger hit waiting in the wings on his album. Kendrick Lamar looks like he'll be fighting Lizzo for #3 with "N95", which spent a day at #1 on Spotify. In the meantime he has an early entry with "The Heart Part 5", which is pretty impressive considering Australian time zones (+ ARIA not counting Thursday data) giving him very little time to get there. It does paint a pretty misleading picture though as it only narrowly outpeaks "The Heart Part 4" which actually never cracked the Spotify top 50, while this made it to #4. It's dropping much faster though so maybe it balances out. Jack Harlow debuts higher and scores two top 20 hits at once. "Dua Lipa" seems to be holding its position better (it's also the one on Hot Hits Australia). Taylor Swift enters with the new version of "This Love". The original version is one of just 4 tracks from the original "1989" that didn't manage to chart here back in 2014. Last week PSY snuck into the top 50 thanks to big digital sales & YouTube streams, now just the former is doing the job for Lady Gaga. Lastly, I don't think that you'd understand, but I just want you to know that TikTok popularity has allowed The Goo Goo Dolls to return to the top 50 with "Iris", a former long running #1 hit from 1998. I should also note that "Blinding Lights" has now tied "Someone You Loved" as the longest running top 50 hit. Unless next week's chart disregards Kendrick's album for some reason, it might take The Weeknd a little while to secure the outright lead.

I'm kind of happy to not make predictions sometimes! It seems even ARIA were caught off guard as Daniel Johns collected a lot of cassette sales for his new album which sees him vaulting to #1 out of nowhere. This is his first ever solo #1 and 6th overall if you want to add every Silverchair album. Now he just needs to find a way to get his first solo album to #1 as well. As a result, Jack Harlow has to settle for #2 on both charts this week, although it's a considerable improvement on his last album's peak. The war for the last few spots in the top 10 is won by Alison Wonderland who scores her 3rd top 10 album. Also sneaking in is Stand Atlantic (who are not to be confused with Chase Atlantic who also released this past week), who score their first top 10 album. Arcade Fire thus hit a fat L by missing the top 10 for the first time post-Funeral, I blame "Everything Now". Hilltop Hoods return to #12 with the 10th anniversary of "Drinking From The Sun", while Kylie Minogue enters with a remix album. Former Australia's Got Talent winner Mark Vincent returns to the chart, and Sharon Van Etten gets her first ever top 50 entry. Next week we'll have to see who comes out ahead with Florence + The Machine's multi-format availability vs. Kendrick's monster streams. Maybe The Black Keys & The Smile could figure up there too.

surprising flop from Arcade Fire!

That's quite a fun coincidence that Future's 'I NEVER LIKED YOU' got knocked off #1 by an album titled 'FutureNever'.

I see that Australia joins the UK in not caring enough about Bad Bunny's album to even put it in the top 50. Do positions below #50 get published anywhere at all?

ARIA publish the top 100 to their subscribers which I don't divulge since it would devalue their paid content. Otherwise you can generally get a good grasp on it via the handful of genre charts they do publish for everyone. Bad Bunny didn't crack the hip-hop albums chart so it's fair to say he missed out, although he was #97 on the Spotify album chart. I think maybe if he were roughly #50-#60 there he might be on the cusp of the top 100.

Harry Styles logs a 5th week at #1. I am more than just fairly confident that he's got the #1 spot locked up next week, I am less confident on how many other nearby positions he should hold. This is more due to ARIA shenanigans than his own prowess. What we're witnessing currently is the biggest chart dominance of an album ever so it's just a question on how ARIA will respond. If the chart is accurate, he should have 8 spots in the top 10, and much of #11 & #15 ("Heat Waves" might sneak in but not sure yet). We're right to question odd behaviour too because you have to jump through some hoops to piece together this week's chart. Kendrick Lamar has 14 debuts this week. I know what you're thinking, "Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers" has 18 tracks though! In terms of the top 50 this is nearly on point though I would argue "Rich (Interlude)" probably made the cut. It's an interlude though so fine (even though interludes have charted before). Additionally we have "Savior (Interlude)", "Mother I Sober" and "Mirror". I do not believe any of these did enough to make the top 50, but beyond that as per the hip-hop chart, they also weren't included, which is a pretty heinous crime on taste. Nonetheless we can speculate if "We Cry Together" is one of the least radio friendly songs to ever make the top 50. Also since Drake album tracks have had a troubled past with the charts here, this is Sampha's first ever chart entry. You're also probably aware by now that Amanda Reifer is from Cover Drive, it was 10 years ago in 2012 that Cover Drive scored a top 10 hit with "Turn Up The Love", Blxst has not charted before only because "Chosen" wasn't counted here. Oh also there's a Post Malone song or something.

Kendrick scores his 2nd #1 album despite his typical digital only handicap. Actually though it's been so long that not only can you encapsulate BROCKHAMPTON's entire career between "DAMN." and "Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers", but "DAMN." was released before ARIA started counting streams. I'm not 100% certain it would've overcome Ed Sheeran with streaming data but it may have been closer. "To Pimp A Butterfly" did hit #1 I think from just digital sales but I can't 100% recall when we got the CDs here. Anyway yet again we see Florence + The Machine fall short of the hip-hop superstar major release, as she debuts at #2, just like she did in 2018 releasing against Drake's "Scorpion". Also debuting in the top 10 is Mallrat with her debut album, although she has charted in the top 20 with an EP before. I watched Eurovision this year and I do not have any interesting anecdotes or observations but the soundtrack lands at #11. Lower down I'm not certain what's going on with distribution or w/e but The Black Keys have turned up quite low at #35, as well as The Smile just below them. I much more readily accept the low top 50 arrival of a solo album from Luke Steele of The Sleepy Jackson and that other band. Also get f'ed Scomo lmao.

Gonna be honest, I'm feeling pretty miserable today so I don't have it in me here. If you could kindly leave your 'I don't approve of album tracks/Harry Styles' takes at the door, I would be very grateful because I really don't need to hear the same complaints again and again. Feel free to send good vibes though, I need it.

Thanks for sharing this Dircadirca and sorry to hear you aren't feeling so good right now. I always look forward to seeing your chart commentaries on the Aussie charts.

Fully here for Harry's album bomb this week, even if only to push Heat Waves out of the top 10. Have no doubt it will have climbed back in by next week :D Lizzo holding on well too.

Harry Styles logs a 7th week at #1 and since there are no major new releases on the horizon, that doesn't look to-nah just kidding I think Kate Bush is gonna go #1 next week. Already a good omen that she turned up a little bit higher than I expected this week, but she's comfortably leading on iTunes & Spotify all week so far. She previously had a #1 hit with "Wuthering Heights", and "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)" reached #6 in 1985. Amidst all the expected rebounds via displacing Harry Styles songs, you'd easily miss that The Kid LAROI is getting a significant boost with all of his tracks as he was touring here at the time. The highest debut of the week is for Kanye West & XXXTENTACION, which bears reminding that the song Ye did with The Game earlier this year should've been a top 50 hit but wasn't counted. Calvin Harris also arrives which means that Dua Lipa replaces "Dua Lipa", although the song doesn't seem to be catching on yet. "Hold My Hand" returns to the top 50 thanks to the movie, and is even charting on Spotify now. Sleepy Hallow scores his 2nd top 50 hit.

Harry Styles holds the #1 spot. Historically incumbent international stars are very good at stopping Australian artists from getting to #1, and that's true again. Ball Park Music's latest album becomes their 3rd to peak at #2, I believe 2014's "Puddinghead" missed the #1 spot by a very slim margin. Further we have Def Leppard scoring their highest chart position in over 30 years. Liam Gallagher scores his 3rd top 10 album and highest position yet at #5, while all things considered, #10 is a solid showing for Tate McRae. Tom Cardy's comedy rock album from last year returns with thanks to vinyl sales.

Glad you are feeling better now!

Now let's all discuss how much we hate album tracks and Harry Styles

Ooh if Kate Bush has a shot at #1 next week - based on a scan of Wikipedia I think that'd be the first time it's reached #1 anywhere (assuming it doesn't climb to #1 in some other chart instead in the next week before that).

We've done it. "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)" becomes Kate Bush's 2nd #1 hit, with a 37 gap between doing so and release. I believe this to be a new record. "Unchained Melody" is the only example I can think of that gets close and that's still only a 25 year gap. Otherwise it's Post Malone week I guess as he gets two new top 10 hits this week. There's also another entry for his Kid LAROI collaboration but in the latest edition of confusing/unclear motives, nothing else from the album has impacted, where I'd have expected maybe half a dozen entries in the lower 50, perhaps suggesting a new precedent of not counting album tracks if they miss the top 50. Doja Cat also gets a big boost with "Vegas" which is in part influenced by getting added to Hot Hits Australia although it was vaulting up anyway. Hot Hits Australia actually had a hugely unprecedented changing of the guard last week when they suddenly swapped out about 20% of the whole playlist overnight, including finally removing Wiz Khalifa's "The Thrill" after 66 weeks of occupying space. It's also responsible for Ed Sheeran's latest top 50 entry with "2step", which is a very confusing song to follow if you're one of those 'every chart entry corresponds to one most relevant track' folks. To summarise: It debuted below the top 50 last year when the album came out, it re-entered this year when the Lil Baby version came out (which is what ARIA is crediting), radio is primarily playing the Budjerah version which was selling the best but doing nothing on streams until last week's Hot Hits Australia add. So for what it's worth, the Budjerah version is unquestionably driving the most activity out of the single but that's already changed hands twice.

Harry Styles holds the top spot for a third week (or 'holds strong at #3' according to the chart news). Post Malone's last two albums debuted at #1 and spent multiple weeks there, so he fell off + L + ratio + maidenless. Thornhill stock on the other hand has never been hotter as they get their first ever top 10 position at #3. Angel Olsen also gets her 3rd top 40 album, slightly lower than previous entries. For those keeping track also, that is a new peak for Maroon 5's Singles Collection.
