Posted January 17, 20223 yr We might as well start a topic for this now as it's clearly going to make the top 40. It's already been in the Top 100 for a few weeks already as part of the BL@CKBOX under 18's cypher where it originated. This has went vital purely due to the teenager's strong Liverpudlian accent. While it's nice to see more north-west representation in the rap scene, I'm not a fan of the Scouse accent at all (not helped by people frequently asking me if I'm from Liverpool when I go down south or abroad). The only other rapper I've heard before from Liverpool is Aystar who appeared on Giggs's 'No Back Bone'. iu-WkA6MjKk As far as I'm concerned, the only good thing to come from this song is this video! @1479448661235048450
January 17, 20223 yr This is one of the worst things I've heard in a while.....so of course it's going to be a huge hit!
January 17, 20223 yr Why the footballers namedrop? Think it started out as 'hype verse' and then he built it in to a full track. I actually quite like the track, the USP is the accent. He signed with Sony so will be interesting to see if he becomes anymore than a one hit wonder when this inevitably becomes a decent sized hit.
January 17, 20223 yr I can see him sticking around the same way Aitch and ArrDee did after also blowing up due to having standout verses in drill posse cuts.
January 27, 20223 yr Sami KheDEEEEEEra lol. I'm here for this, more Scouse accents in the top 40 please.
February 3, 20223 yr Remix of this dropping tonight featuring M1llionz, Digga D and Unknown T apparently so a good chance it'll be heading into the top 10 next week.
February 3, 20223 yr Getting ‘Body’ vibes from this, imagine it done something similar, couldn’t imagine the uproar if it got #1 lol
March 10, 20223 yr I think it's a real grower myself. Hope he has a good career and shows his face soon! :P
