November 4, 20222 yr I don't think Fred is an album artist. I had high expectations after the great singles but as an album it's messy, constant voice notes repetitive themes, using the same lines in different song bug me a lot.
November 4, 20222 yr Author Emil said on the chart show today that Actual Life 3 is the final in this series of albums, so I'm wondering if he will now look to produce more like the USB playlist he's put together. The big stompers certainly seem to be big hitters. That being said, this has been Fred's most commerically successful album. Enters the album chart at #4 today with just over 9,000 sales. Delilah climbs to #35 in the singles chart, along with Clara entering at #62.
November 5, 20222 yr Great result, I'm a little mixed on the album as a whole like Kath- but “Delilah (pull me out of this)” remains a top tune. Reminds me a bit of SuReal's “You Take My Breath Away” in terms of battling against anxiety. <3
November 7, 20222 yr I don't mind the spoken bits and I find the melodies that link albums with each other quite a nice detail.
December 6, 20222 yr Late to the party but I've been getting into some of these other releases of his. Finally heard 'Jungle' and that's great indeed and 'Delilah' also is good too. I do like 'Danielle' as well but I'll give it a couple more listens.
