Posted February 1, 20223 yr Will we have any special surprises? A new album A little EP. A reinvention of Kylie classics in an album like Abbey Road but maybe Disco orientated? When did she kick off K25?
February 1, 20223 yr K25 kicked off with the Abbey Road Sessions version of Finer Feelings on 25th January, although I think she announced there would be year long celebrations earlier than that. Not sure if we’ll get anything significant this year. 35 isn’t as notable an anniversary as 25. I imagine Kylie will perform at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee concert in the summer like she did for her Diamond though.
February 1, 20223 yr I think kylie will hold and wait to do something big for her 40th year in the industry as that will be huge for her. Personally I'd hate another abbey roads type album as I'm not a fan of reworking songs as generally I just feel they never do much for a song as they are always slowed down versions, if doing something like this I'd prefer to see samples of kylie songs used similar to higher love that kygo did with whitney houston. Breathe for example I think could really work in that format and possibly appeal to a new audience. Kylie could also celebrate by releasing a duets best of as she has done loads and there is a huge opening for a rarities album, any of these I'd prefer to an abbey roads part 2.
February 1, 20223 yr Author I didnt mean a reworking with big orchestra like Abbey Roads i meant something more along the lines of Slow + Love To Love You Baby mash-ups or just disco/danced up rearrangements. Duets would be lovely but i think that will come in a few years time and probably be a double album with new collabs also
February 1, 20223 yr Possibly it will come in the future, she has done so many duets, features etc and many of them never appeared on an actual Kylie album so i know its something i would like to have on an official cd release.

February 4, 20223 yr Kylie was on Germany's Next Topmodel last night. She said she has been in the business for more than 30 years. I think if 35 years was an important milestone to celebrate, she would have announced it.

Agree, people seem to celebrate 25 or 30, even though it’s an incredible achievement I don’t think 35 years will be a significant celebration for Kylie in terms of any events or releases to mark the event
February 4, 20223 yr Author Well she is working on a new album so that will be enough. i expect it to be released in 2022......... She seems to get far more done when she is in Australia :)
February 4, 20223 yr I'd love a new album this year but I'm not fully convinced she will release this year either so I won't get my hopes up, I'd love a tour announcement though and ideally at least one date for Ireland.

March 31, 20223 yr Still think we will get a new album in Q4 of 2022 and Tour Spring/Summer 2023? She seems to have had a few recording sessions with Biff, I reckon they could be aiming for this too and tour both albums. I don't think it'll be marketed as 'Disco 2' like with Steps but still be similar in sound. I know she mentioned 'Fever' was an early blueprint for the next album and I could see that being the case, mixed with a bit of 'Slow/Love to Love You Baby/Fashion' type of sound.
