March 29, 20223 yr This could be a train wreck collab like Just Got Paid or could be a stomper. Really wanna hear it either way.
March 29, 20223 yr Author Similar artwork to Heartbreak Anthem there so I wonder if we're due a David album and this and that will be on it
March 29, 20223 yr Hard to tell if it's any good from the preview, but I hope it is. Hopefully it does well for them all.
April 2, 20223 yr Becky & Ella have just finished filming the music video, so hopefully that's not to far away from being released.
April 7, 20223 yr It's very generic, it doesn't feel like a natural collaboration between them both and the "da da da" feels like a lazy hook. Watch it grow on me like 'Where Did You Go?' did.
April 7, 20223 yr Really hate it when chorus go Da Da Da Da Da, there's nothing worst, so lots of negative points for this one
April 7, 20223 yr Wordless choruses are fine (and worked to great effect in Becky's 'My Heart Goes (La Di Da)'), but in this the 'Da da da' definitely feels lazy, both lyrically and musically. The song as a whole is somewhere between generic AF and annoyingly catchy - I can see it being a minor hit.
April 7, 20223 yr It's better than I was expecting but I still don't like it much. It has a good bassline in parts like My Heart Goes (La Di Da), but unfortunately its not as consistent with that song in providing a brooding atmosphere, it goes a bit far for my liking into disco-pop territory for parts of the song. April 8, 20223 yr It is extremely basic and I’m so over the empty choruses but I don’t hate the song. Kinda think Ella dominates over Becky vocally so not really sure why both were needed.
