Very surprising to see 'Touch' not making it through! One of Little Mix's best songs.

Touch not getting through is a surprise, but these rates sometimes go against the Buzzjack grain, for example One Last Time didn't make the final 100 of the #2s two years ago.

My top 3 of this round (all from my top 4 of the first round) are still in, but I'm getting anxious, think it's going to be close for a few of them...

OMG

Stereophonics , Mariah and LM out !! Oh No !!

Mariah Carey's fifth top 5 single. In her own country, it was only the second single by anyone to be a new entry at number 1. The four members of the Tom Tom Club are down as co-writers as the song samples "Genius Of Love" from 1981.

Mariah's chart history in America is insane. Incidentally does anyone know what the first song was to debut at #1 there? I'd be interested to know.

This round is going hideously for me. Think I’ve lost about 7 or more of my top 10. Fantasy is such an amazing song. Music Box and Daydream eras were Mariah at her best IMO.

29. DJ Quicksilver - Bellissima 250pts

Writers - Orhan Terzi, Tommaso De Donatis

Top points - rio309 24, Mark223 23, Jason 22

DJ Quicksilver was the German/Turkish DJ, Orhan Terzi. After Bellissima, he went on to have two more top 20 singles.

Shame to see 'Touch' falling out. Gave a hefty 20 to that and it is one of their best ever for me and was their last song I properly loved till SM last year. 'Handbags and Gladrags' out too :(

From 2014, this was the first of seven top 40 singles for the Swedish duo, the most recent of which is a new entry on this week's chart.

26. Guns N' Roses - November Rain 282pts

Writer - Axl Rose

Top points - King Rollo 25, xajnipi 25, Roba 25

November Rain falls just short of the final, with the same number of points as the song in 25th place which goes through on a tie-break by 27 votes to 22. Its expensive nine minute video has been viewed 1.8 billion times on youtube.

'November Rain' is a classic and the video was epic to it as well.

That's sad to see it fall at the last hurdle of advancing to the final.

So these are the 25 singles that go through to the final, in chronological order:

Be My Baby

Shout

Dancing In The Dark

Livin' On A Prayer

Open Your Heart

Where The Streets Have No Name

Leave A Light On

Something Good

No Good (Start The Dance)

Kiss From A Rose / I'm Alive

Waterfalls

Stupid Girl

No Surprises

Truly Madly Deeply

Kiss Me

Yellow

Don't Tell Me

Feel

What You Waiting For?

Supermassive Black Hole

All Good Things (Come To An End)

Don't Stop The Music

Stereo Love

Stay

Blank Space

November Rain is epic and has possibly my favourite guitar solo too, shame to see it lose out on a tiebreak </3

I voted for all 4 songs eliminated tonight but I'm less bothered about the others. At least my wildcard got through (one of only two to do so, it seems)

Handbags and Gladrags was the only one I gave quite a few points too of recent ones, great version of that song.

That's a pretty good top 25, though a shame November Rain isn't joining them.

oh poor November rain

Runaway is one of my favourite mid 10s dance tunes; shame to see that go.

Ah if only I’d given November Rain 1 more point… though it’s possible I like what it was tied with even more.

Think I only voted for 10 of the qualifiers.

'November Rain' was one of the last songs I cut so oops at it missing out on a tiebreak!

'Runaway (U & I)' and 'Bellissima' made my votes too (the latter I think I only know because of it being sent to a BJSC spinoff, while the former is to this day the only one of Galantis' hits that I particularly like).
