May 3, 20241 yr If it increases to£15 I will be cancelling mine and going back to the free account with adverts and using YouTube. Everything keeps increasing in cost and my wage isn’t going up.
May 3, 20241 yr It's annoying, but my phone bill and my gym membership have both just increased by more so that's the real ouch for me at the moment.
May 3, 20241 yr Author Maybe introducing an extra subscription model would work, so you have Free, Premium and Premium Extra for a higher cost whilst keeping the existing Premium model to a fixed price for users?
May 3, 20241 yr Or we pay less - £8.25 a month if you buy a 12 month Spotify gift card - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Spotify-Premium-Gi...C127&sr=8-1 Thanks - that's useful to know.
May 3, 20241 yr Or we pay less - £8.25 a month if you buy a 12 month Spotify gift card - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Spotify-Premium-Gi...C127&sr=8-1 Thanks for this, just bought it! Under the new £11.99 price it’ll be £143.88 a year, I imagine they’ll raise the price of the gift cards soon
May 8, 20241 yr If it increases to£15 I will be cancelling mine and going back to the free account with adverts and using YouTube. Everything keeps increasing in cost and my wage isn’t going up. Surely everyone’s has went up a bit in the last two years! May 21, 20241 yr Although buying a year up front for £99 is definitely more preferable as only £8.25 a month pro rata, just realised via Martin Lewis' moneysavingexpert that with monthly subscriptions, you can dodge the £1 price rise to £11.99 if you don't listen to audiobooks (which I definitely don't intend to) and just switching to a "Basic" account (which is exactly the same as the Premium without Audiobooks) for £10.99 https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2024...lan-audiobooks/
