With his debut tape ‘Pier Pressure’ out soon, ArrDee has announced that he will be releasing ‘Come & Go’ on Thursday at 7pm. Small snippet is on his Instagram, not sure if this is going to be pushed as a single or not, seems quick following the release of ‘War’.

'War' has already been dropped from the Radio 1 playlist apparently because of the Ukraine situation so it wouldn't surprise me if he is just fast tracking to the next single to quickly bury that song.

Pity Aitch won't be on this song :( Would have been ideal for them both to do a new collab after 'War' has been understandably deplaylisted.

 

Oh god though at the possible double meaning of the song title :mellow:

I had completely forgotten about that Ironik song but I remember it now. It was certainly one of the first non-grime UK rap hits, just before Chipmunk and Tinchy started making the charts. Its good that the first era of UK rap hasn't been forgotten about.

Good sample but think it could have been used slightly better. Think it will scrape top 10 due to other songs going to ACR.

If we’re talking about early non grime UK rap hits you could talk about WeePapa Girl Rappers and The Cookie Crew from 1988 :D

Could the mixtape get to No1?

Would be nice if he gets the no.1. However, 'Come and Go' has a disappointing entry at 31 on Spotify after its first full day. Thought it would go at least top 15 officially but unlikely.

Possibly the mixtape would go Top 3, I reckon.
