March 4, 20224 yr Author Ed Sheeran with three songs on the playlist, wonder when that last happened... Thought they might have insta-added ArrDee's new one to compensate for being forced to remove 'War' but they'll probably add it next week. 'The Motto' getting a 7th straight week on the B-list, not sure why they didn't just A-list it a few weeks ago! Surprised they still haven't added Blossoms, surely R1 can't be done with them? :unsure:

Radio 1 have been battered over the head so much with cheese slices that they have developed an addiction to it, and would at the drop of a hat, inject the cheese directly into their listeners ear lobe veins.

March 4, 20224 yr I'd much rather hear the BMTH version of 'Bad Habits' on the radio than 'The Joker And The Queen' tbf x A little surprised Dave wasn't an instant A-List add! Also a little strange to see the Introducing spot given to a song that is already in the top 40 :lol:
March 4, 20224 yr The Central Cee double track A list is confusing. I don't know why Retail Therapy wasn't just replaced with Straight Back To It on its own or it should have been Khabib and Straight Back To It. Glad Straight Back To It is being playlisted anyway, it has a really nice flute in the instrumental, sounds a bit Far Eastern I think! I notice they played some of the flutey instrumental as a soundbed earlier following on from the full track being played and it was lush!
March 5, 20224 yr Some decent new additions. I like the fact that they add songs that are evidently going to go to the A-List straight to the B-List as it saves a rather pointless week on the C-List. Surprised they re-playlisted Bad Habits, thought that they would've added Camilla Cabello over that. If they're going to share some of the A-List slots then they should add Wilkinson and Becky Hill's track and Rex Orange County's AMAZING in my opinion. It's interesting that they still played Sam Fender's 'Hypersonic Missiles' during the week but don't want to play Arrdee's War.
