It was good to see Ricky and the handling of Dot’s death is so far so good.

 

Sonia watching Mick and Linda at the end of the first ep reminded me of when Pat saw Ryan and Stacey getting it on all those years ago. I know we’re never supposed to be but I’m always on Janine’s side.

I'm really enjoying the show right now, the episodes apart from the football overkill one have been consistently good. The writing for janine at the minute is great, its the janine we want and enjoy.

I guess last night's ending is Sonia calling Ricky to come and sort out Janine :kink:

Blimey, today's episode is quite emotional.

I had wondered if we'd get any surprise returns, but Ian was not on my list! Wonder who he was on the phone to?

 

Dot's Theme mixed with Abide With Me was wonderful at the end

Ian Beale's cameo, blimey.

Loved it tonight with a few old faces.... Lofty "I went to the wrong Church" :lol: Mary looks so different, I remember her with black hair, Colin barely recognisable, and Ian :lol: with some few words "I'm coming home love" :D priceless. Let's hope they bring him back at some point.

What a lovely send-off for Dot in #EastEnders tonight, very emotional and nice to see some old faces and a cameo from Ian Beale too.

I feel like they are setting up an Ian return after Adams tour is finished and having him return with Jane. I loved if they did recast Peter back to Thomas Law and have the Beales restored. I have faith Clenshaw is capable to fix the Ian/Sharon unit too, a storyline that never should,ve happened. Also have Max and Lauren back so Linda and Jane can bond together against Max or something.
