I was on a late at work and off tomorrow and the second I woke up I had to watch this, and I know tomorrow will be the same, I have missed soaps being this gripping!!

Bobby has become one of the best characters in the show.

 

I suppose Sharon’s ‘I was there’ line was vague enough to relate to any time period of Ian being with Cindy/aftermath of being with Cindy but she actually wasn’t ‘there’ at all when things hit rock bottom for them.

I hope that scene in the Vic isn't the sole way the show decides to deal with the Ian/Sharon situation and they go back to acting like old besties next week, that would be pretty poor.

 

I do wonder if a Cindy Jr return is already in the pipeline. Is Linda still on about getting custody of Mick's son or did she drop it? Could that be set up to bring Ricky back with Liam and Cindy?

Even though we knew it was Theo all along it still felt really intense when he revealed who he was. I'm a little surprised he just went ahead and outed himself? I guess Stacey would've eventually seen her texts and calls from Martin but he could've denied it and dragged it out so a bit of a curve ball there I guess. Hilarious at his disregard for Lily going into labour as though Stacey's going to just drop everything and pander to him. Tomorrow is sure to be fiery!

As much as the show is on fire right now it really is still missing a character iconic in the way that Abi Branning was.

6 years since they killed off Steven for no good reason whatsoever.... and then they went on and killed off Abi too for the sake of some Max wallowing and some boring custody shit :(

I forgot all of that happened at once! Iconic

 

It was all quite ridiculous that the year had eight months of nothing except a lame bus crash and then they did all that in one week-no lasting impact whatsoever except Steven’s death which doesn’t really get mentioned enough. The show was a complete mess back then.
