How old is Vinny supposed to be? Not that old if he doesn't remember his father.

The actor is 27 so can't imagine he will be much younger than that

The ages of the Panesars have always been VAGUE. Suki is barely old enough to be their mother in real life.
Not as bad as Corrie, where two women who look like same age SISTERS are supposedly mother and daughter

That fight scene made me actually laugh out loud  I like that it wasn't played seriously (at least I hope that was the intention!) and was over and done with in the first few minutes, I don't think I could have been bothered with half an hour of it.

Night scenes always seem to bring out the best in EastEnders and I thought there were some great character-led moments tonight. Loved the community talking about the fight when they got to the Vic, pretty sure I heard Honey bring up Billy previously being a postman which reminded me of some saga about Billy stealing the post that was never resolved! Linda and Shirley's scene upstairs in the Vic was great. I'm actually pretty on board with Lola and Jay and I thought they had really strong chemistry tonight - I'm ready for the emotional journey when Lola discovers she's got a terminal tumour.

Poor Lola :( Another actRESS AXED!!! WHY ALWAYS THE WOMEN?!

Jay and Lola is much better than Jay and Honey

Well this sucks. Metro are reporting that

Suki

is leaving.

That is worrying news.

Isn’t it just one of their clickbait articles? They claim someone is leaving or dying each week.

Returns for Dot's funeral! From Digital Spy:

Now, the BBC has revealed that funeral scenes for Dot will feature former cast members Jacqueline Jossa (Lauren Branning), Lord Michael Cashman (Colin Russell), Gary Hailes (Barry Clark), Tom Watt (Lofty Holloway), Linda Davidson (Mary Smith) and Jan Graveson (Disa O'Brien) returning to Walford.

I thought Lofty and Mary would be back after they returned in 2019 for Dr. Legg's funeral and presumed Michael would be asked to return as Colin too, but didn't think Barry or Disa would be back! Fingers crossed Nigel, Claire, Charlie and Rose will return too though.

Quotes from all the returnees from BBC Press Office: https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/2022/east...ranning-funeral

Who did you most want to return for Dot's final farewell?

I think Nigel Bates was the biggie they don’t seem to have gotten. He and Dot were a lot closer than she was with some of the names returning (Lauren, for example) but unfortunately most of those with potential are dead-a lot in real life as well.

Who did you most want to return for Dot's final farewell?

I wanted Charlie her grandson most of all, it seems so odd he would miss it.

Nigel is the biggest miss, given how close they were. I guess they'll have to come up with some excuse why Charlie isn't there since she's apparently being living with him too.

Ian is the other one that really should have been there but apparently Adam Woodyatt was unavailable due to other commitments so maybe they did try with that one... and i'm seriously doubting he actually wants to return at all at this point tbh.

I forgot about Ian :o but ya he really should be back for the funeral but if he has other commitments it's understandable.
What I don’t think Adam Woodyatt realises is that none of us are actually missing Ian anyway.
I’m struggling a bit with the new Amy. The last one was so sassy and full of personality. This one seems like a decent enough actress but she’s been thrust into EE’s ever horrendous teen storylines and that doesn’t help.
