  • I’m meeting Jade today 😭😭😭

  • So that's it for Week 1. We have done what we can. We now await the chart outcome. Fingers crossed that she has managed to overtake 21P at LEAST (I think we're definitely heading for an Ed & Sabri

  • This isn’t album-related but I’m not really sure where to put it haha. Jade’s reading a picture book as a CBeebies bedtime story tonight and it’s a book I worked on 🤯 I’m a children’s book designer,

Ooft! This is nice! At this point, I'd be happy with anywhere in the top 40... 2nd week drops are usually quite lethal if you have little/no streaming presence...

I'm not comparing Charli to Jade BUT Brat debuted at number two (selling 27,234 units) on the UK Albums Chart, - The Fact Charli was incredibly hyped and we had a full BRAT summer and JADE wasn't far behind what Charli opened with is amazing!

I'm still amazed at the 23k sales she must be sooo pleased with that it just goes to show pop artists don't need big chart hits to gain great album sales and hype.

2 on the Scottish charts where she placed higher then Ed Sheeran, that's wild! Which makes it three top tens in the United Kingdom for her.

So pleased for her!

She did great this week. I'm a little miffed sabrina pulled ahead but top 3 is great for her and impressive sales.

This was always going to happen, the fact she ran her reasonably close is a testament to how hard she worked and pushed over the last few days as I was expecting her to have stormed ahead.

That last bullet point is actually WILD!? WTH???

Incredibly pleased for her but that's INSANE and quite disheartening that there are only 2 former UK girl group members who have peaked top 3?

Wouldn't that be debut album? Cause I'm pretty sure the first 3 of Cheryl's album went top 3?

Anyway, amazing achievement from Ms Jade, the album is a slay on all fronts

Cheryl's only 1 person no matter how many albums peaked top 3 (and no matter how many times she changed her name 😅)

Yeah I think they meant members and not albums.

EXACTLY!!

Must be quite surreal having THE Mr. Enninful invite her there and perform 'Midnight Cowboy' in front of him! lol

Now that the album is FINALLY out there, I’m so excited to see what’s next for her! 🥹 her team really need to push her in the US tbh!

“I’m JADE and I’m going to be gagging you for five minutes” cheeseblock

It really is, especially when there are so many ex-boyband members with them too in fact all the below have had #1 albums too...

  • Robbie Williams

  • Gary boring Barlow

  • Harry Styles

  • Zayn Malik

  • Niall Horan

  • Louis Tomlinson

  • Ronan Keating

Plus "male bands"

  • Paul McCartney

  • John Lennon

  • George Harrison

  • Liam Gallagher

  • Noel Gallagher

  • Peter Gabriel

  • Phil Collins

  • David Gilmore

  • Sting

That is off the top of my head, the list will be far longer. I know there solo careers were not as widely accepted by the British public as the group was but it still blows my mind that none of the Spice Girls achieved a solo #1 album when they all had such high profiles.

Members makes more sense indeed lol They should've specified. Anyway 2nd members, 4th album, both are incredible achievements

You forgot Annie Lennox

Wasn't in a girl-group was she? Aren't the Eurythmics a female/male duo?
