Yeah Let Love Go and Crying On The Dancefloor are poppy and not very dancey at all.

 

 

I think they’re more referring to the “bold and brilliant ways” comment, ‘Crying On The Dancefloor’ is literally about what the title suggests :lol:. It being ‘poppy’ doesn’t change that.

halfway through the album so far, definition is a bop fr! liking it so far! Also the 4 extra tracks on the apple version is just extended version good luck, lower and slower overthinking, an accoustic cover of toxic by britney, and the accoustic version of let them know - nothing special

LOL is good, definitely sounds like it samples something 00s R&B for the L-O L-O L-O L chorus bit or is it just my imagination?

If there is, the writers aren’t credited. Steve Mac and RAYE are the co-writers for that track.

I Love Your Girl is my favourite of the new tracks, that chorus is infectious :wub: Really enjoyed the whole album on first listen and it flows really well, will be returning to it for sure <3

I'm really liking this on first listen. Animal, Shy and LOL are the standouts of the tracks we hadn't heard yet.

To me it sounds so different to anything and sounds like it could easily be a hit with the right push?!

100% this. I’ve listened through a couple more times and they released the complete wrong singles. Why would they choose Good Luck which is so generic and void of personality when songs like Animal, Shy, LOL and I Love Your Girl we’re right there!

I reckon the label thought the name Galantis could help the song but clearly the success of Heartbreak Anthem was due to LM rather than Galantis alone
