December 17, 200619 yr 7 (from 12) Chris Cornell - You Know My Name: James Bond Theme http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/17188808.JPG Chart Run: 12-7 a7j93Bf-EyI 'You Know My Name', sung by Chris Cornell, is the new theme tune for the massive new James Bond film 'Casino Royale', backed with an acoustic version of the Soundgarden classic 'Black Hole Sun'. 'You Know My Name' was co-written by Chris Cornell, the lead singer of rock band Audioslave and previously Soundgarden, along with acclaimed modern Bond composer David Arnold. It's an epic piece and has a darker and grittier feel than previous bond songs, a move away from the traditional, more orchestral approach and a reflection of what the new 007 film has to offer. 'You Know My Name' will also feature on Chris Cornell's new album which will be released early 2007. - HMV track listing * 1. You Know My Name * 2. Black Hole Sun [Acoustic Version]

December 17, 200619 yr Author *cough* Please can we stop having circular arguments about Jordan, this is the Chart thread, not the Jordan/Katie Price thread. Thank You -_-
December 17, 200619 yr This is hands down the most appalling chart of the year :puke: 2006 has been so great for music and the past month or so has seen so much vile $h!t. Lily Allen robbed of top 20 with her BEST song by effin Chacaron, that retarded frog and the likes of Andy Abraham and Lil $h!t? So far in the top 20 I've only liked Beyonce, Nelly & The Pogues. Jordan isn't worth having a tissle over - there's places for people like her - I call it a dustbin. She can be famous for showing her t*ts and being in every god damm magazine on the planet - has it paid off and helped this 'charity' single & album top the charts and sell thousands? NO. For once I have some respect for the British public :smoke:
December 17, 200619 yr I wanna stick up for her, shes fun in my opinion please do, all these people dissing her. she hasnt killed anyone

December 17, 200619 yr Chris Cornell #7. :o Bloody hell, what a drop from the midweeks. If this was released a few weeeks early, it would have performed beter in the chart, its a cracking theme tune

December 17, 200619 yr Here's hoping Leona, Take That, Girls Aloud & Gwen Stefani all are top 5 next week would actually make the Christmas chart bearable.
December 17, 200619 yr #8 P.Diddy & Xtina - how did this urban dirge make the Top10, when the wonderful "Hurt" only made #11 I just don't know. #7 Chris Cornell - I normally like James Bond movie themes, but this song just passes me by.

Surprised at the fall Chris Cornell had from the midweek position, but #7 is probably about fair for it.
December 17, 200619 yr Just because some people think the chart is vile, doesnt mean eveyone does Some people have obviously bought the singles
December 17, 200619 yr If this was released a few weeeks early, it would have performed beter in the chart, its a cracking theme tune Apart from Madonna, no Bond theme in the last ten years has done that well. #7 is better than Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow or Garbage managed.
