Surprised love changes everything is so high in the list, it is typical late 80s MOR and I am not a big fan of love songs but its good for what it is and the chorus is very memorable so would have given it points had I voted!

Yes, British MOR is almost always better than American MOR *cough Richard cough Marx* :teresa:

Climie Fisher were just pop, not sure why anyone would put them in the same category as Richard Marx

it's also not a competition, both songs were great

sad to see Right Here Waiting go, great single from Richard Marx

Richard Marx, much prefer Hazard, now thats a classic, but its pleasant enough, Climie Fisher is still fab, great tune. Ghostbusters is another "Oh no not again" every year, but its great fun anyway. Howard Jones is a goodie, though I loved the forgotten follow-up Hide And Seek even more. Not one of my fave Erasure records, I'm afraid, but it's OK. Sometimes is much better.

This is our preferred 80s No 2 for both of these acts whose unusual chart trajectory was all to do with the availability of the promo.

So I lose two of my top 3! We like this more than “Bad Boys” though and it was a US No 1.

Congrats to everyone for getting their 30 pointers into the top 50.

I'm away now until Sunday when the top 50 kicks off!

ah that’s a shame for heartbreaker to miss out top fifty

perhaps it would be more remembered if bee gees sang it themselves but dionne has a great voice for it

Oh Say Say Say , such a fantastic hook from MJ. Although you might want to edit the entry as I don’t think it kept itself of the top spot. :D

GREAT Top 50 there, except one song which I hate for personal reasons but I can see why others like it.

3 good songs out today and a heartbreaker of a final reveal for Gezza.

Strong Top 50 though. Pleased that my Top 10 is intact and 22 of my picks have made it this far, including some that I didn’t expect to still be standing!

I see what you did there....

Shame the brilliant Everything She Wants just missing out on top 50. :(

I really can't understand why Gold, Crockett's Time, Golden Brown and They Don't Know are top 50. :nono:

Bottom 2 in the points left. What a surpriseeeeeeeeeeeee!

!

Maybe other people have different music taste to you.

*gasp* :louis3:

Say Say Say I know more from the Hi-Tack song which sampled it but yes it has a good chorus.

Heartbreaker is a very nice song indeed.
