I did enjoy tick tock quite a lot, one of clean bandits only decent releases of the past 3 years. I hope its as good as that because although i'm quite a fan of mabels, good luck was very boring and underwhelming so hope this can make up for it!

I’m quite liking the TikTok snippet so far. Hopefully 24kGoldn will fit in nicely.

I’m not expecting this to do much commercially though.

they’ve really moved on quicker than i thought, good choice from label
Let Love Go should have been the single choice but not complaining about new music anyway

Out now!

A decent Weeknd-like synth pop sound! It feels a bit unfinished but could be a grower. I was hoping for just 1 short verse from 24kGldn but he has the intro, 2nd verse, bridge and backing vocals in the final chorus :')

I'm really liking this. I actually like how 24kGoldn is spread out over the song, makes it feel like more of a collaboration rather than some feature that they tagged in at the last minute.
Another song clearly inspired by the 80s synth sounds of 'Blinding Lights' but I'm still not tired of that sound at all so this is a winner for me. I think it suits her well!
I like it more than I was expecting from when she released those three snippets, and it’s certainly better than the nothingy Good Luck, but I think I’d prefer a solo version. It’s nice that 24kGoldn is all over the song rather than it appearing to be substituted in at the last minute but I’m not really a fan and it’s almost as though it’s his song with a Mabel feature.

It's pretty good! I'll be honest, I rarely like anything of hers so it's pretty monumental if I like a song.

Are they just throwing stuff at a wall and seeing what sticks at this point?

I do really like mabel, and this one is great imo, so much better than good luck, but i fear she's already starting to fade and she really needs to bring out a proper bop like she did with don't call me up to secure herself before she fades to nothingness

This didn't even go top 200 on Spotify. :nocheer: It's 94 on apple with lots of Kendrick and Harry tracks ahead which bodes well.

This is my fave of the three songs released so far although I do think they all sound good together. So I've got some more excitement for the album now (hoping it's not scrapped).
