Drake has never been talented though. Not handsome, bad singer, bad rapping, can't write his own music or melodies, and just used his Wheelchair Jimmy fame, and then built up a "cool" persona and let others do all the writing and producing. It's no surprise the music turns unbelievably dire, as producers and writers refuse to camp out kn his studios. He literslly made them camp out, and rhey couldn't leave, as he went in and ate expensive foos, glowering at them, to try and intimidate them into making hits!!! :rofl: Kanye West does the same thing. It's no wonder they refuse, and he ends up with shite "music".

 

But this song is also abysmal.

She certainly isn't 29 mentally, that's for sure.

 

Blew my mind when I found that out though, I thought she would've been a teenager to be singing these songs. I'd probably put this in my top 5 worst songs I've ever heard.

I liked 10 Things I Hate About You, this is.... an interesting one :lol: The Twinkle Twinkle interpolation was not a good idea and ruins what could've been an otherwise alright song, it's just a bit too gimmicky for a song that isn't actually intended to be novelty. The fact she's 29 doesn't really feel relevant to me, my thoughts on the song would be just the same if she were 10 years younger.

Honestly, I think the song overall would be fine if it literally didn’t have “twinkle twinkle little bitch” and the nursery rhyme melody as its main hook. That’s too obnoxious for my liking.

 

I obviously get that it is that part that was specifically created to get the song attention (clearly the aim is going viral on TikTok). Maybe that’ll work out as intended, but my gut feeling is that it won’t. It’s like it’s too obviously engineered to be viral and people will see through it & not connect with it.

 

I think it’s a bit of a shame that a potentially much better chorus was sacrificed for a gimmick. I think the song does have catchy hooks away from the chorus.

 

I don’t care about her age in relation to this to be honest. Avril Lavigne’s recent music has the spirit of being a teenager even though she’s 37, but it’s endearing. So it could be for this 29 year old artist too, but she didn’t nail it with this song.

theres 2 shes teasing - the sk8er boi and one i think is called life sux - shes defo influenced by avril :lol: since avrils latest album was also called love sux!

the verses on twinkle twinkle are decent, but the chorus is too cheesy for me. I love 10 things tho, and the ones shes teasing also sound promising!
