Sam Ryder was brilliant last night. Hope it helps his album in the charts!
He was brilliant! Plus how amazing of Brian May to notice and post about it... possible Adam Lambert replacement in a few years?

The sooner the better!

I enjoyed it but I thought his voice wasn't as strong as it had been. Maybe a relaxed throat or something as he didn't use his power rocky voice too much. The Queen one especially was disappointing.

He probably shouldn't have done too many medleys too as I felt some didn't suit him. I liked his duets with Mel and Justin though and 'SPACE MAN' & 'All The Way Over' were his best of his own but that's not difficult when the other two aren't great

I laughed at his peace bye at the end too

Also Sigrid was good!

He said he was singing for about 10 hours with rehearsals.

Pleased for him! Although how has he got hold of a midweek so soon? Does he mean on iTunes or something?
I like Sam, but I believe that 11.1m was probably the show’s peak at 23:55!

Shh they haven’t split it so it still counts (for now)

Just caught up on the show from last night and I really enjoyed it. He really is just so likeable and such a star he really deserves continued success. The only criticism is I would have liked maybe another song or two from the album but that would be the BBC’s decision. Sam and Justin’s performance was definitely the highlight for me.

Also just noticed they have released a new version of the album with some of the covers from last night.

It's great promo for the album and it was quick of them to get a new edition out. Whether it goes back to number 1 or not he should be easily top 5. I never expected the album would stay top 10 for 4 weeks but I'm delighted for him.
It’s inappropriate now but I bet Sam would be handed a presenting or green room role if the UK had won Eurovision in 2022. He’s very likeable and charismatic like Måns Zelmerlöw who won in 2015 then presented in 2016. Sam radiates the same vibes and he is one of the most liked and respected Eurovision artists ever in the fandom. It’s nice that the reaction last nice was so positive.
