Could afraid to feel actually end up reaching number one in a few weeks as it's climbing very quickly? I did feel lizzo had a chance originally but she won't make it now unless she is lucky with ACR with Harry.

Sounds like a #1 to me but it's very hard for dance songs to go all the way

But good thing is Harry will have 2 more weeks then go to ACR

So Lizzo or Kate Bush or Afraid to Feel can make it

The song has already gone viral on TikTok, it’s why it’s so high currently.

Tbh I could actually see it happening, the fact it’s shot up into the Spotify top 50 without any real playlist support and is making gains on Apple Music and Amazon music

really weird that the new Lost Frequencies with James Arthur and the new Jax Jones/Martin Solveig didn't even go top 200

kinda shows how little interest and investment young people have these days :/

 

great if Afraid to Feel is catching up on Tiktok, cannot find many videos myself, if it's going viral, sure it's not yet on the same level as Lizzo/Gayle etc

Afraid To Feel is featured in 3,500 videos on TikTok and I've not seen it once on my FYP, I wouldn't say that's enough to be giving it the boost it has here? It's hardly going viral on there. I know we all always want to pin something down to a trend but let's just have a natural hit instead ^_^ unless someone can show me where on TikTok it's actually making waves?

Maybe it’s just being featured on lots of TikToks now because it’s a popular song, but there certainly seems to be something about it that’s made it feature in lots of recently posted videos.

I guess its like Shouse - Love Tonight (David Guetta remix) and Fred Again + Blessed Madonna - Marea (We Lost Dancing) a year ago. I don't recall that either of those becoming popular were down to going viral on Tiktok at least at the start of their chart runs and both also sounded very different to the usual dance in the charts!

Post Malone’s top 2 tracks holding up well, the Doja cat collab only down one place to #9 and his song with roddy ricch only down 2 places to #11. Green Green grass is now into the top 50 for the first time at #49 :yahoo:

I don’t think it’s taken off on there yet, but I’ve seen a few TikToks featuring a certain line from Post Malone’s ‘Lemon Tree’, so hopefully that’s able to hold up well.

The huge number of streams Kate's been getting isn't really sustainable for most artists even when they have Hot Hits UK and all the other playlists backing them up, I'm quite impressed Kate's still doing so strongly!
