June 3, 20224 yr Author 17 | 16 | 6th week George Ezra Green Green Grass 2nd single from Gold Rush Kid Released: 22nd April 2022 Label: Sony Music Entertainment UK Chart Statistics NE (05/05/2022) | 46-43-31-22-16-17 Sales: 60k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 04 Sales 41 Audio Streaming 45 Video Streaming Video VQeW62X8rEA Biography George Ezra’s spirited folk-pop sing-alongs could have thrived in any era, but their mix of worldly curiosity, unbridled optimism and a few playful loops and synths reflects a truly millennial ideal. Born George Ezra Barnett in Hertfordshire, England in 1993, the singer/songwriter grew up seeking comfort in the wordplay of folk laureates like Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie and the raw, emotional resonance of blues masters like Lead Belly. He trained his voice to sound as bold and booming as the latter, and honed his writing chops while travelling—an activity he’d been fascinated with since falling in love with Paddington Bear as a kid. The fictional teddy would come to inspire Ezra’s 2014 debut album, Wanted on Voyage, a phrase found on Paddington’s suitcase. Singles “Budapest” and “Barcelona” burst with buoyant acoustic hooks while evoking the modest sensibility of Ed Sheeran. They also represent a clear sense of place, and Ezra’s eternal wanderlust, something he slips into each of his effervescent works—whether that’s finding “Paradise” in love or riding “Shotgun” to anywhere. That exuberant joie de vivre feels ever more evocative under the influence of his robust baritone, a soothing sonorousness that goes down like a finely aged wine. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2013 03 Budapest -1/3- MILLIONAIRE 2014 95 Leaving It Up To You -IG- 2014 06 Blame It On Me -4- MILLIONAIRE 2014 41 Listen To The Man -5- 2015 70 Cassy O' -2/6- 2017 66 Don't Matter Now -1- 2018 02 Paradise -2- MILLIONAIRE 2018 08 Hold My Girl -4- 2018 01 Shotgun -3- MILLIONAIRE 2018 25 Pretty Shining People -5- 2021 08 Come On Home For Christmas -NAS- 2022 12 Anyone For You (Tiger Lily) -1- 2022 16 Green Green Grass -2- 1 x #1 | 3 x Top 5 | 6 x Top 10 | 8 x Top 20 | 9 x Top 40 | 13 x Top 100 Social Media George Ezra http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png

June 3, 20224 yr Author 16 | | 1st week Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa and Young Thug Potion 1st single from Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 Released: 27th May 2022 Label: Sony Music Entertainment UK Chart Statistics NE (09/06/2022) | 16 Sales: - Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio TBA Sales TBA Audio Streaming TBA Video Streaming Video FFV6t4Dl_zQ Biography Calvin Harris Talk about an unexpected career trajectory. In 2007, 23-year-old Calvin Harris released I Created Disco, a cheeky shot across dance music’s bow that presented him as Scotland’s brow-arched answer to LCD Soundsystem. Fast-forward a few years, and the scruffy fellow playing house-party host in the “Merrymaking at My Place” video is suddenly baring oil-slicked abs on Calvin Klein billboards. What happened, of course, is that Harris (born Adam Richard Wiles in 1984) traded up from the Amiga computer of his teens, developed some of the best studio chops in the business with deep-house rollers like 2013's “Thinking About You,” and helped spark EDM’s pop crossover with hits for Rihanna, Florence Welch, Ellie Goulding, and others. Along the way, he became one of the 2010s’ first DJ/producer/songwriter polymaths to earn top billing even on the songs in which he didn’t sing. No stranger to pyro-lit main stages—his percussive, synth-strafed 2014 single “C.U.B.A.” is big-room house at its most gargantuan—Harris has resisted getting boxed into any one sound. On 2017’s Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, he lays down a set of slinky R&B jams for Frank Ocean, Migos, and Young Thug, while the 2018 singles “Promises,” with Sam Smith, and “One Kiss,” with Dua Lipa, proved just how versatile his vision of pop can be. - Apple Music Dua Lipa There’s purpose in Dua Lipa’s euphoric pop. “For me, it’s about championing women and putting ourselves in the position of power,” the singer told Apple Music in 2020, ahead of the release of her second album, Future Nostalgia. “I have been inspired by the female alphas that have shown me that we can do it. And that we can wear the pants, you know? We need more of that in music.” Forcing the world to get a little more comfortable with female alphas has been a mission statement for Lipa (born in London to Kosovar Albanian parents in 1995) since her 2017 self-titled debut. It housed the triumphant breakup smash “New Rules”, the self-love anthem “IDGAF” and the assured “Hotter Than Hell”—songs which made it clear that this was no ingénue, but rather an outspoken, effortlessly cool face of pop’s future. Indeed, that status was cemented a year later when Lipa made history as the first female solo artist to receive five BRIT Award nominations. She won two and, in 2019, added two Grammys to her mantelpiece. Despite the success of her debut, Lipa wasn’t interested in recreating its hits. “People always say, ‘The second album is really scary,’ but for me, it’s more scary to go back into the studio and try to create something like ‘New Rules’ or ‘IDGAF’ over and over again,” she said. “I feel like I’d end up in a vicious cycle of trying to get somewhere but never being able to mature as an artist.” And so, to move forward, she pivoted to the past, drawing on disco and funk—and filtering it through her ahead-of-its-time pop—to arrive at Future Nostalgia. Decadent and every bit as empowering as those early hits, it brought Lipa her first Mercury Prize nod, multiple Grammy nominations and a rightful place in pop’s upper echelons. And with it, too, came Lipa’s new purpose. Released just as the world went into lockdown amid the coronavirus crisis, Future Nostalgia became an urgent tonic for tough times—danced to in living rooms across the world. Yet Lipa wasn’t done there: Five months later, she unveiled Club Future Nostalgia, a thrilling remixed version on which the singer teamed up with club queen The Blessed Madonna, and guests including Madonna, Missy Elliott, Gwen Stefani and Mark Ronson, to bring lockdown-fatigued listeners another dose of escapism. “I didn’t think I’d be putting albums out during a global pandemic,” added Lipa. “But it’s just about creating experiences for everyone at home. That’s the most important thing for me now.” All of this, of course, is only just the beginning. “I really feel like I’m finding my feet,” said Lipa. “I feel so proud of Future Nostalgia as a whole and the most confident and the most myself making it. But I’m already planning the next move.” - Apple Music Young Thug You don’t get a lot of warning for an artist like Young Thug. From his warped delivery to his radical, gender-fluid fashion sense, the Atlanta rapper (born Jeffery Lamar Williams in 1991) flies in the face of every unspoken rule for what hip-hop is, should, and could be. Starting with a prolific run of mixtapes in the early 2010s, Thug rose by pioneering a weird, ever-shifting flow somewhere between singing, rapping, mumbling and squawking—pushing rap forward by pulling it apart. But the weirdest thing about what he does is that it works: Nearly every project Thug’s released since 2015—from the reggae-inflected JEFFREY to the country-ish sides of Beautiful Thugger Girls—has cracked the mainstream, laying the groundwork for a new crop of fellow eccentrics like Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti. In other words, Thug hasn’t adjusted to convention but brought convention to him. Genuinely experimental, he frames his process in modest terms: “I’m in the studio so much, I’ll just try stuff,” he told The FADER in 2013. “I just think and try, think and try.” - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History Calvin Harris 2007 10 Acceptable In The 80s -1- 2007 03 The Girls -2- 2007 43 Merrymaking At My Place -3- 2008 01 Dance Wiv Me (Dizzee Rascal feat. Non-album single Released: 4th February 2022 Label: Universal Music Chart Statistics NE (17/02/2022) | 40-30-23-11-10-7-7-8-8-10-9-9-10-10-13-13-15 Sales: 300k+ Certification: Silver Status: Standard Chart Ratio 02 Sales 10 Audio Streaming 78 Video Streaming Video id4y5kSJdAw Biography Jax Jones When Duke Dumont topped the UK charts with his single “I Got U” in 2014, many listeners may have assumed that featured artist Jax Jones was the singer. In fact, Jones (born Timucin Aluo in 1987) was a co-writer and producer on the song, and its No. 1 position marked his auspicious debut. Raised in London by a Turkish father, a Malaysian mother and a Nigerian stepfather, the Apple Music Up Next alum grew up on a mix of American hip-hop, UK dance and African music, which might help to explain the mix of styles that swirls through his own tracks: His youthful fondness for Prince shows through in funk-infused cuts like 2015’s “Ocean Drive”, while Afro-Caribbean accents bubble up in 2018’s “Ring Ring”, a lilting tropical-house collaboration with Mabel and Rich the Kid. Though his beats generally follow the punchy cadence of deep-diving future house, he brings a hip-hop producer’s collage sensibility to the mixing desk: Many of his productions slyly interpolate other songs. “You Don’t Know Me”, from 2016, is built around the slinky hook of M.A.N.D.Y. and Booka Shade’s 2005 anthem “Body Language”, while “I Got U” contains a choice bit of Whitney Houston’s “My Love Is Your Love”. Whether on his own productions or his remixes for Ellie Goulding, Charli XCX and Missy Elliott, Jones’ habitual blend of pop polish and house groove is unmistakable. “I just thought I'd try it,” he told Apple Music about his relationship to dance music. “House is a collage of everything the creator is. If you love hip-hop, you can chuck that in there. If you love rock, you can chuck that in there too. It took a long time, but now it makes a lot of sense. It’s sample-based and also musical, so it's a very natural fit. Life is beautiful like that. They say you have to, like, get rid of yourself to go to the next level. And I think that’s what happened.” - Apple Music MNEK At only 24 years old; artist, writer, and GRAMMY award-winning producer MNEK has already clocked up an astonishing ten years in the business, having signed a publishing deal aged just 14. With his early material like ‘Never Forget You’ (with Zara Larsson) and ‘Ready For Your Love’ (with Gorgon City) to his more recent collaborations such as ‘Blinded By Your Grace’ (with Stormzy), he has an impressive 1 billion streams to his name. The list of people he's written and produced for along the way is hard to quantify - Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, Little Mix, Madonna, Diplo, Zara Larsson, Julia Michaels and Stormzy to name but a few. With his debut album ‘Language’ which was released in September 2018 on Virgin EMI, MNEK took centre stage with a remarkable and bold body of work. Embracing and filling the gap in the pop star market he didn’t have to look up to while growing up. Accumulating over 40 million Spotify streams across the album, ‘Language’ features singles ‘Tongue’, ‘Correct’, ‘Paradise’ and ‘Colour’ featuring Hailee Steinfeld. - Spotify Top 100 Chart History Jax Jones 2014 01 I Got U (Duke Dumont feat.
