The chorus of padam padam is a real hook line, the repetitiveness of padam padam throughout the song helps keep the song in your head whether you like the song or not and thats always a huge help in getting a hit, i know the chances of repeating its success will be hard. Im not expecting another hit the size of padam padam but a 2nd top 40 would be nice, anything higher and id almost see it as another big moment.

That would hopefully mean tension is going to be a single, but whether its the 2nd one or not we will have to wait and see. Id say they will confirm what the 2nd single will be by the end of this month.

If she does not release Tension as second single, it would be a crime ! The song is incredible! Better even than Padam on first listen! If any of you know her management, please do something!!! :yahoo: :yahoo:

Tbh it might indeed make sense to release it to coincide with the album release, as the single 2 might get overshadowed by Padam, however good it might be.

I think there will be an element of padam padam overshadowing it so maybe hold off releasing it until September and hopefully whatever the 2nd single will be will resonate again with the general public even if only a fraction of how padam padam did.

I did wonder if there was an outside chance she’d get booked on one of these types of awards if ‘Padam Padam’ continued to perform well in Europe. Think the last time she performed on one of these big name award shows was ‘Slow’ at the MTV EMAs although she has presented awards since then.

i think its just a twitter rumour.

 

They are on 12th Sept then 17th she in Leicester for BBC Concert and also for the album launch a few days later

I mean there is not really a much better song to promote Vegas - from the snippet I heard I really like it too.

Maybe we get a snippet of Vegas High in a youtube commercial for Las Vegas residency but not a full release?

I think August 30 is too late for second single, as the focus track on the release week starting September 22 will be yet another track. (This purely from the chart perspective)
