Olivia Rodrigo opens on her first midweeks with 33k. Will Kylie be similar in a couple of weeks time?

This might be the first Kylie album I don’t buy. I’m seriously thinking about cancelling my preorder as really not into this era at all. I know I’m probably in the minority on this site but my other half feels the same too. Will be interesting to see how it performs as Olivia Rodrigo has sold a lot less in the Monday update than I expected first week so those first week sales might not be as high as many are expecting.

That’s a pretty pathetic comment to make. Just because my opinion is different to yours and most other fans on here.

Some people on here seem to just like everything Kylie releases regardless of the quality or whether it’s actually good. I can’t do that and will only support it if I like it. I don’t expect you or anyone else to understand that and it’s fine if you want to label me!

For what it's worth though, it's been widely suggested there are different sounding tracks on the album so there must be something on it you'll find yourself enjoying.

From what I have read, 'Hold On to Now' and some other emotopop tracks from the album should definitely appeal to Kylie's core fanbase!

I do believe in a 3rd top 20 hit as well

Will Hold On To Now come out as a surprise this Friday or maybe Weds next week ahead of Album?

 

I think the video is done, streams will be high and ready. Who knows!

I dont agree but I can see where you are coming from. This isnt Kylies trademark style of music but it is gifting her the best chart positions in years for her singles.

 

From what I have read and snippets I have heard, it sounds like this album will have varied music styles. I am thinking something on the line of X album hun.

 

I believe there will be something on there for you, Hold onto now will probably be right up your street hun and thats rumoured to be a single at some point.

I have also heard Padam and Tension does not represent the full album. It would be a shame to lose you hun after a couple of singles which represent a small part of the album hun

 

I understand and support whatever decision you feel is right for you hun. I think this era has a lot of great things coming, I have not seen Kylie this active and busy for a long time.

 

The album is out in 10 days my hun and I believe it will be up there as one of her best albums
