With hold on to now kicking in it should help the album, its frustating really as about another 3 or 4 hundred sales both last week and this would keep her top 100.

Really not fussed about album positions now. It's going to have ups and downs.

 

The more singles and remixes she gets on playlists then the better those streaming sales can do long term.

 

I think that's why BMG are working hard on singles this era as if no singles the album would be doing even worse streaming wise!

 

I mean Padam Jax Jones is doing better still daily than most of the album tracks. 10 out of 10 got on a few playlsits and is also doing better than most of the album despite many fans not liking. The Chromeo version of Tension is also doing better than most of the album.

 

If she can get 6 (yes 6) singles from this era, all top 40 and on some playlists then that's better for Tension long term

I'd still like the album to have more weeks on the chart than its managed so far. I know it has peaked but its had such a short chart run.

I'm sure the album will have a few more re-entries, I'm relaxed about it and ready to see what else they have in store for the rest of the campaign.

Lots not liking the colour and design. Not seen many buying. Amazon probably had 50 to sell as a taster.

 

It may sell better as a 9.99 download than vinyl ! Until price reductions lol

Yeah the Extension cover is awful! And is the first item I’ve not instantly pre-ordered this era.

 

I’ll probably end up buying on release week though :lol:

First two weeks are almost in line with the official position, unfortunately the same can't be said for the following weeks :(

What kinda first week sales are people expecting?

 

I can’t see it doing that well. Mostly hardcore fans will buy it. I will download the extended mixes for everything apart from the 3 singles but I really wish this was coming out on CD rather than vinyl which doesn’t interest me.

Ya it's not a vinyl type release for me either.
