Do you think he will also visit South America? Dubai? Israel?

Dubai definitely I would say.

He got a lot of criticism for visiting Israel last time.

He was always amazing in South America. He loves Argentina doesn't he.

Great to have everyone back on the road again. After Covid I am sure a lot of the band thought it would never happen .

Yes.

Let's update his Top-5 Tours:

Close Encounters - 57

25 Years Of Hits - 50

Swings Both Ways - 50

The HES - 48

LMEY 2015 - 42

Of course, The HES is bigger if we count the audience (there were more stadium concerts) and even if he will reach Close Encounters by quantity it's difficult to overtake it in overall.

But due the fact the tickets sales are so cool and he's going to visit more countries and cities makes me at this moment very excited!

God bless him!

Yes, Close Encounters is the one that nearly killed him . He's in a different place now , I guess his family will be able to join him here & there when he is touring .

He says he will do South America next year , I take it that is not included in the 50. Anyway we will be there in spirit all along the way & sometimes physically :P . We have a lot to look forward to in the coming months .

So April /May are free so far , will the new album he talked about be released then, he mentioned the Springtime . Will he release the album in the middle of the tour

Wow a big tour. I wasn't expecting that.

He knows how to look after himself on tour now and he'll have his family close by a lot of the time.

He said in one interview on his sports channel that he will also visit South America (before Australia and New Zealand) :-)

I guess he will do Dubai during New Years Eve again

Still not sure about it...

But it would be a great surprise like UTR Vol 1 in 2014 :)

Maybe UTR but not sure rither, he talk about releasing an album in Spring but it's unusual given he is on tour with the current album so no time for promo. It could well be another UTR . Then again he did release Rudebox while he was on the CE tour  & that was a bit of a mare :o

Yep, with his Mum in his corner telling keep his chin up he will be fine

The band, dancers , road crew etc must be thrilled to be going out on the road again . I am sure this particular tour will be special to them all . Lovely to see them all together again. Dying to see the staging/graphics etc.

His last gig in 2022 is NOV 20th & next one JAN 20th so he has two months off unless something else is announced. He could well do a one-off gig in between so maybe Dubai

The tour starts in the middle of winter. I hope covid doesn't spoil it. The summertime would have been safer. And queuing would be more fun than in the cold  .

+

one more date (and 3rd in Hamburg, it's interesting that not in a row)

24 Feb – Barclays Arena, Hamburg

Close Encounters, where are you? =)

+

one more date (and 3rd in Cologne)

08 Feb – Lanxess Arena, Cologne

https://www.lanxess-arena.de/eventdetail/629

So 10 concerts in Germany in total.

Same as in UK.

52 concerts in total at the moment.

Plus this good news:

All the venues are indoors Lundi so it will be fine, wear a nice warm coat when queueing, I don't do queueing full stop Robbie or no Robbie  , Covid is on the increase again but I am not going to worry about it, the WHO says it's nearly on the way out so it should be fine.

Looking at some of the venues & their capacity I can see why he might be doing so many shows to cover costs etc as these tours are so expensive. Is it easier doing smaller shows that big stadiums , It's still a lot to cover . I cannot remember what he did for the CE tour , was it a combo of stadiums & arenas

I hope they've made the right decision doing arenas instead of stadiums.

That is an awful lot of dates.

If he'd done stadiums -he could have cut the number down drastically.

but the tour would then have to take place in summer and I think the time planning for next year is adapted to the Biopic promo and movie

Yeah, I am not sure I understand the decision , I just think it's a bit crazy doing that many dates so close together with having to travel to the locations in between. Are they back on the buses then like the good old days

I took the liberty of updating the data for Germany
