I can't deny that 5,6,7,8 is a classic and an important song in their career, and I do enjoy it, but it's certainly not close to my personal Top 25.

 

Great to see Here and Now make it! Sometimes it feels like one of the more overlooked Steps singles. I was rather surprised that it got such a prominent slot during their 2021 tour!

 

Heartbeat totally deserves a spot within the Top 25! In my eyes it's classic Steps. Some fans like to claim that Heartbeat/Tragedy was only a hit purely because of Tragedy, but it was actually Heartbeat that got the initial big promotional push and even radio play - less so Tragedy. It was nearer Christmas time and certainly New Year that Tragedy really gained momentum.

 

Living in a Lie would be within my personal Top 40 for sure, but I wouldn't have predicted it coming close to Top 20 for all of us combined! Out of the WTFH Pt. 2 tracks I'd say that Wasted Tears is superior. Though I couldn't find room for Wasted Tears in my rank so I can't really moan if it doesn't end up being in the results! Can't imagine it'll have made the Top 20 though.

It was released first as a promotional single days before the album released, however it wasn’t until a few months later that it got the proper single treatment. (Well minus a proper video). To The Beat Of My Heart received votes from 5 of the 7 participants, the first song to achieve that so far. (4-10-18-7-7).
