I think it's a good placing for chain reaction although overall I had thought this would be a top 10 for a good few voters.

I think it's time I actually posted my thoughts. :D

25: Happy

Really surprised this made the top 25, I like it but I don't even think it'd be in the next 10-15 songs for me. Plenty better album tracks in my mind. Saying that I don't hate it.

24: 5,6,7,8

The song that started it all. I'll always have a place for this and the fact it got to #1 in Australia (Steps first #1) add to it's specialness.

23: Here & Now

I wasn't stoked on this as a single at the time, but I loved the video. (I love mazes). So happy it made the countdown though as I'm starting to come around on it.

22: Heartbeat

I really liked this at the time, I thought the video was cool and whilst it didn't make my 25 I'm happy to see it here.

21: Living In A Lie

One of if not the highlights of their most recent album for me.

20 - To The Beat Of Me Heart:

This was a huge favourite of mine from the moment I heard it and the fact I left it off my initial rank was criminal.

19 - Back To You:

I've come to love this in the past 12 months, not only is it probably my favourite album track from them but it's well up there as one of their best from their first time around.

18 - Loves Got A Hold On My Heart:

This was my #1 for such a long time, I never knew it had so many detractors. Anyway so happy to see this get to the top 20.

17 - Paradise Lost:

I've loved this for so long but it's now starting to slip down my affections sadly, still a great song though.

16 - Love U More:

I went could on this one for a while nut I'm fully back on board such a great song. This and Back To You deserved their moment as singles.

15 - Say You'll Be Mine:

I loved the video to this, to the point of obsession. I had it recorded and would watch it constantly. Happy to see it make it this far.

14 - Chain Reaction:

Really enjoyed this at the time, the video is great fun to. Really surprised it missed the top 10 though.

13 - Stomp:

Wasn't expecting this to place this high. During one of our many lockdown days I was obsessed with this song, would spam it on my long walks.

I rated stomp the highest by far but great to see others rating it aswell and I'm happy it made it this high as it's one of my very fave steps songs and its even better live.

#12 coming up now and #11 will follow shortly after. I'll be taking a break for 24-36 hours after that as I've got family visiting for the weekend.

Taking out the #12 position is one of Steps more recent offerings. The Slightest Touch, a cover of the 1986 5 Star hit. Released as the third overall single from What The Future Holds Pt2 this is Steps doing what Steps do best and was an instant fan favourite amongst almost all their fans upon release. The Slightest Touch received votes from six of the seven participants. (7-3-24-12-16-14).

#11 - Summer Of Love - 88

Just missing out on a place in the top 10 by four points is Summer Of Love. Released alongside When I Said Goodbye it would peak at #5 in the UK and #18 in Ireland. I wasn’t a big fan of this one when it initially got released, I preferred When I Said Goodbye, but since then I’ve really come to love this song and wish it got a bit of a push outside the UK. Summer Of Love received votes from all seven participants. (22-16-7-15-4-6-18).

Hazelnuts - 4th (22)

Paradise Lost - 10th (16)

Yobnedor - 19th (7)

Lukuzz - 11th (15)

Feel_The_Fever - 22nd - (4)

Spiceboy - 20th - (6)

Jay - 8th (18)

46 - Buzzz (3)

Edited by Paradise Lost

I would say that Wasted Tears deserved more than that, but I couldn't even fit it into my own Top 25!

I thought Heartbreak in This City would have been a bit more popular here!

I Know Him So Well is literally me only!

Surprised to see TST already, thought that might break the top ten tbh.

The Slightest Touch - I wasn't sold on this at first but it's one that's really grown on me over the past few months. It's placing is pretty decent.

Summer Of Love - Another one that has a pretty decent placement in the Ultimate 25. Wish it got a release in Australia.
