How the overall chart is calculated:

- each week, each song gets a certain number of chart points based off of chart position. eg. a song at #1 gets 50 points, #2 gets 48, #3 gets 47, #5 gets 45 etc. both #49+#50 get 1 point)

- if a song has charted in 2021, only 2022 charts will contribute to its chart points and position.

- this is added to get an overall sum of chart points (eg a song at #1 for 4 weeks would have 200 chart points)

- depending on release dates, bonuses are added to make it a more level playing field. In order to get this bonus, the song has to chart for a minimum of 2 weeks within the Top 40. The bonuses are as such: February debuts +25, March debuts +50, April debuts +75, May debuts +100, June debuts +125 etc.

- If multiple songs have the same total chart points, the song with the highest peak will chart higher than the other. If multiple songs have the same chart point sum and same peak, they will be ordered based off which song charted earliest.

The format for each song will be as follows:

#position: song name - artist name

total chart points: x

chart run:

[if the chart run began in 2021, it will be written in brackets [eg. (1-2-5-7)-8-12-15]
