I’m hoping my home team (MK Dons) bounce back from throwing automatic promotion away (by losing form) and play off promotion away (through an awful performance in the first leg of semi final)

They have lost/are at risk of losing good players though….

Wayne Rooney has told troubled Derby County that he wishes to be "relieved of his duties as first-team manager" with immediate effect.

The 36-year-old's contract with the club had another year to run.

The Rams have been in administration since September last year and were relegated to League One last season.

"I feel the club now needs to be led by someone with fresh energy and not affected by events that have happened over the last 18 months," he said.

The former Everton, Manchester United and England forward met joint administrators Quantuma on Friday and he said they had tried "tremendously hard" to persuade him to change his mind.

Charlton manager Ben Garner has been charged with improper conduct following their 4-4 draw with Ipswich Town.

The 42-year-old faces two charges relating to improper language or behaviour after his sending-off in the 53rd minute of last Saturday's game.

In Garner's absence the Addicks drew level at 2-2 thanks to goals from Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Albie Morgan.

The Top 3 are looking quite tight at the moment, with only 4 points between first and third! Would be nice to see Plymouth and Ipswich get back into the Championship after a few seasons out.
