If the announcement is indeed coming in November, then surely they would want it to coincide with Spiceworld's 25th anniversary? From a PR point of view, it would make the most sense.

A few weeks ago they hid (made it private and unavailable) the SW19 video that is officially uploaded to their Youtube for a few days. Seemed odd at the time but I wonder if they were using it for material to put together an announcement video. They wouldn't need to do a photoshoot or skit video this time when they could use footage from stadiums brim full and the girls actually on stage sending the crowd wild.

From that I am guessing that someone is holding out. Either the festival will only take a 5 piece and Victoria is saying no or Geri doesn’t want to do it seeing as she is the only one who has never commented on wanting to do it.

Glastonbury is not exactly something that you get multiple opportunities to do. Nothing they do individually is going to attract more people/media/celebration than a 5 piece Glastonbury (or anywhere) performance. Quite ironic for a group that is all about 'legacy'. Again, the music takes a backseat.

 

If this is true and they've passed this up, they've become a travesty. They've become exactly what critics accused them of during their peak.

If the girls don't perform at Glastonbury in 2023, then maybe 2024? It is pretty ridiculous the girls have only done 60 tour dates in the last 22 years. The girls simply cannot get their act together even when it comes to touring.

This isn't working for me at all. I'm so bored of this... They just constantly tease us to get in the news, and generate viral content for their solo projects, but even then do they really help promote those projects?...

 

It's very frustrating because it keeps reminding us of the absence of something good. But we keep being reminded of this absence of the group because they have mediocre (and sometimes frankly crap) solo projects to promote.

Yeah I’m sensing Emm is not saying much because she wants to sell her shows (because otherwise people will just save money and see the spice girls instead) so that’s why she’s been so coy about it

They do treat the fans like crap. I'm shocked at how badly they or their team have handled this whole year.
