Have we ever had a hit from an Armenian act? I seem to recall System Of A Down are at least partly Armenian?.

 

I think Cher is Armenian. She had a lot of hits and also one of the biggest hits of all time.

 

Also, they're not pop stars, but Ana Kasparian, Anita Sarkeesian and Kim Kardashian (and a bunch of her family) are also Armenian. And I've probably spelt all their surnames wrong, but maybe that's why Cher didn't use her surname. Apparently if you're Armenian your surname has to be a minimum of 4 syllables long. :lol:

I think Cher is Armenian.

I think that's a bit of a stretch. Sure, she has Armenian heritage - her father was an Armenian-American but she was born in California which makes her American in my eyes.

This dance song has two versions high up on the Spotify UK viral chart, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it blow up soon.

 

 

Sounds good, the instrumental reminds me of Happiness by Sound De-Zign! EDIT: just found out it uses the same sample as it!

 

The vocal is quirky so I can see why it would become popular on TikTok.

To me it looks like arrdee and calvin will get a top 40 place on friday with santa probably sne

wonder how high Rosa Linn can go, such a random one to take off out of all of this years Eurovision songs
Why is Arrdee so low, thought this would be a potential no1

 

Might do a bit better on Spotify but yep not much buzz. He has had a lot of hits but unlike Dave, Digga D or D Block Europe say (all the D's lol) he doesn't have a dedicated fanbase.

 

That said too early to say if it's a flop. It may be a long runner in time like Tion/La Roux which only debuted at 16 officially.
