I miss the days of the double a sides singles, streaming has killed that off, but from the 5 Steps released what was your fave, the recent here and now vs you'll be sorry poll got me thinking about this.

Ooh this is tricky. Some have great songs weighed down by some not so great songs and some have two average songs. They all come out pretty close when comparing them.

Heartbeat / Tragedy just edges out Here and Now / You'll Be Sorry for me.

Heartbeat/Tragedy - Love both!

 

Say You'll Be Mine/Better The Devil You Know - Love 'Say You'll Be Mine', hate their version of 'Devil'

 

When I Said Goodbye/Summer of Love - Love 'Summer of Love', don't particularly like the other one.

 

Here And Now/You'll Be Sorry - Like both

 

Words Are Not Enough/I Know Him So Well - bleugh all round

I voted say you'll be mine/ better tge devil you know as I love SYBM and like BTDYK where as others Tragedy I really like but not a fan of heartbeat same with summer of love which I like but I don't like when I said goodbye.

Im surprised to see Words Are Not Enough/I Know Him So Well with a vote considering what its up against but everyone has their own taste which i respect.

I adore I Know Him So Well but I couldn’t vote for it here because WANE drags it down in this poll placing for me!

Words Are Not Enough/I Know Him So Well is the only one that is 2 ballads, all the others have at least 1 upbeat song which def works better for a group like Steps

The double ballad release wasn't the best idea for a single.

No and it was a strange one for them to do considering they are better known for upbeat happy music.
