Eminem will release his second Greatest Hits album, following the first volume back in 2005. This one will focus on tracks from Relapse, Recovery, The Marshall Mathers LP2, Revival, Kamikaze and Music To Be Murdered By, covering 2009 to 2020.

 

The lead single, From the D 2 the LBC, is available now.

Eh? I've got it on CD and they're definitely not on there. Maybe there was a deluxe edition or something but the standard edition only contains Eminem lead singles.

*made #12 in the UK and #17 in the US but still better remembered than some of the top tens I think.

 

'Guts Over Fear' just scraped the UK top 10 but peaked at #22 in the US so I wouldn't be surprised to see that not included.

'Walk On Water', 'River' and 'Fall' didn't quite make the US top 10 but I think they're well enough known to be included.

I'd like to see some lesser performing stuff like 'No Love' and 'Space Bound' on there but that's pretty unlikely I guess.

 

In any case it's shaping up to be a great collection of songs!

Guts Over Fear wasn't from a studio album so I expect that will be snubbed.

I expect Venom will get included over Fall too, it's got much bigger Spotify numbers.

Then I guess Darkness could get included otherwise he'd only have one from his most recent album.

It's been confirmed there's one other new track on this. His singular new song on the original 'Curtain Call' was the ridiculous troll song 'FACK' (and he put it right at the start lol), I kind of hope he does something like that again just for giggles.

A bigger hit than a lot of the songs there, at the time at least, and the only song I can think of post first greatest hits that has the same vibe as the likes of Without Me etc.

I think the latter observation might be the reason it has been excluded honestly - it kind of felt at the time like it was an obligatory 'novelty lead single' because he'd done it for all the previous albums but his heart clearly wasn't in it any more and he dropped the concept after that.

Fine enough tracklist... except 'Gnat'. That song sucks.

 

Also, no 'Framed', 'Guts Over Fear' and 'Killer', that is a bit disappointing but whatever.

 

Edit: 'Darkness' was also meh. I forgot all about that crappiness.

He released an official video for 'Crack A Bottle' 13 years after it's release in promotion for this album.

 

I listened to the lot this morning and really enjoyed it. I forgot how good Headlights is
