Cheering for Kath here but I absolutely deserved the win so give me 2 20 pointers next :kink: :kink: :kink: jk jk jk

So yeah for quite a while it looked like I was bombing even harder than I expected  but glad that out of the few votes I have received, 3 of those were medal positions including two 20s! I was kind of targeting WhoOdyssey with this one haha so I count that 20 as a great success *.* thank youuuuu to Severin for the other 20 as well and Doctor B for the 15! + Jordan for my early pity point stopping me from being the last on 0 for an embarrassingly long time and Joops (and now Savan) for another small handful of points :3

Similar to Doctor Blind's comment, I've actually been aware of The Lounge Society for a little bit and kept them on my 'keep an eye on them' list - along with basically every other band in the current UK post-punk scene - but it wasn't until this song that they had anything that fully clicked with me. Sounds like a blend of Fontaines D.C. and Squid which is a perfect recipe for me being a big fan and not many others! Especially with the vocals leaning a bit more on the Squid side of that comparison :kink: #acquiredtaste

(oops that I didn't return any points to either Whoddy or Severin and only gave 1 to Doctor B though, sorry!)

The current top 4 were all in the top 5 of my votes!! Any of those would make absolutely excellent winners but I'm of course rooting primarily for Minor Science.
Deductions looking like they aren't making much difference then - really liked 'Stars' though, sounded quite timeless, obviously it is pretty clearly 90s but you could tell me it was dropped today and was just going for the 90s aesthetic and I'd believe it.
naur it’s the fact that Tokyo got so many 20’s, like that might be my favorite thing to come out of unknown pleasures in a LONG WHILE

Thank you Rob! Another 20!

Also that Emancipator song was a brilliant choice, really stood out as such a lush soundscape.

Lol 2nd time I've sent them in 5 months. This was always the plan to send it to UP before 'Minor Cause' even came on the scene for BJSC!

Some fab choices overall though. Much better than the last edition!
