Marcus Mumford has left his sons (for now) for his first solo album. '(self-titled)' is out on September 16th and includes collabs with Phoebe Bridgers, Brandi Carlisle, Clairo & Monica Martin, and it's produced by Blake Mills (known for producing Perfume Genius, John Legend & Laura Marling, among others). Not much else is currently known about it!

Lead single 'Cannibal' is out today. Nice enough but doesn't really get interesting until the last minute, hopefully it grows!

'Grace' is out today, this seems to be the single that'll get pushed. Sounds pretty decent on first listen! Though I'm not sure it's that different really from anything that M&S would put out.

 

This is a decent record from first listen the best song by a long way is the Phoebe Bridgers collab ‘Stonecatcher’!
