But kicking off the show with C I + Alice would be way more impactful, she should put her greatest hits as the filling of the show, it would give it more fluidity, and if she is going to include only her biggest hits she should replace LoveGame with Alejandro. Also, I knew Sour Candy wouldn't work live, the song was chopped, she should take that song out and include 1000 Doves and Sine From Above because she can sing these songs full and they are also better than Sour Candy. Applause or MR would also work much better than Telephone, which at this point is more than overplayed.

I do agree with pretty much all of this. I am however warming to the idea of BR as opener over CI+Alice. Those initial monster chants at the start of Bad Romance must ignite the entire stadium! Chromatica I is more subdued even if it is the perfect album opener. The audience would've been chanting GAGA and screaming like crazy over a delicate orchestral instrumental before she entered. But now it gets a proper focus after the explosive intro!

Agree with everything else though, she needs to drop Telephone lmao

I also think Sour Candy had to be on the setlist given it's a big fan favourite (even if it is in the bottom 3 songs for me and 1000 Doves would've been HEAVENLY live)

Has the outfits from the show made anyone feel they need a rethink?!

My initial plan was on wearing bright colours kind of like the Stupid Love video, well I definitely had pink in mind but after seeing the outfits for the tour should I go dark or stick to bright? I’m torn  I mean it is summer after all and pink is still reminiscent as part of the album in a lot of ways.

I'm insanely impressed with everything I have seen so far — far beyond my expectations after 'Enigma' to be honest. The styling! The stage! The looks! It's so fresh and cool but also very true to Gaga as a performer. 'Replay' and 'Babylon' look like the absolute moments they deserve to be.

The only thing I'm really not sure about is the closing and encore. I guess I'll see in London~

I read your post and thought of this tweet

i think anyone going into this show expecting it to be anything but a Greatest Hits show probably is a bit delusional.

She's playing stadiums - a stadium world tour - which suggests that at least 50% of the audience are going to be casual fans (the ones who want 'Shallow' and 'Hold My Hand) - they don't know or want 'Government Hooker', 'Swine' or 'Fashion' (2008 version).

The only thing that surprises me (genuinley) is that she isn't doing a jazz number...

The setlist is pretty much what i imagined, hence why i'm not going, as i don't like most popular Gaga singles and she was likely to pay dust to the singles I actually like - Paparazzi, Perfect Illusion, Do What You Want,

I didn't even think she would do a jazz number. She has never done them on her album tours without Tony apart from one or two songs (depending on location) on artRAVE and it was usually Bang Bang that is not really jazz.

And why the hell would she sing jazz at a pop concert? She already has the jazz gig in Vegas.

My favourite thing about the Chromatica Ball from what I've seen, is that we all expected bright pink, neon greens, glitter, confetti etc. But instead we have harsh, cold, barren wastelands. And that's what Chromatica is: a dark place in one's mind where dancing is the only cure.
